I feel investors should focus on under-the-radar stocks, considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises plummeting stocks that were once revered. I don't know where to go here out of devastation.
The safest approach I feel to tackle it is to diversify investments. By spreading investments across different asset classes, like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown.
@@PatyRamírez-z9z It's often true that people underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business. "Risk of recession would hurt the mid and smalls more than the large caps" no kidding, the whole narrative of rotation into small caps is a trap, not once small caps were going up when SP500 was going down in recessionary environments...
It was a trap that is opening now. It may be time for the small caps. like it has happened in other years. I had a mixed portfolio in my 401K, with Large Cap, Mid Cap, Small Cap, and there were years Small Caps, along with Mid Cap outperformed Large Cap, this might be the case coming up again. Nothing wrong with having some small caps
So Tom Lee has been selling the idea of Smalls Caps for almost one year now, especially recently, and we are on the verge of interest rates cut and this guy throws cold water of recession into the fray and the fear of owning small caps? Come on now.

Small cap rotation 🙄 small caps are weak
A recession won't be allowed. You can always print and spend more. Your money is becoming worthless.
