*THUMBS UP* and a *MASSIVE SHOUTOUT* to the living NBA legend Steve Nash for letting us into his house, being such a cool guy and sharing his passion for soccer with us 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Never thought an NBA legend would be so passionate about football. Great stories..especially the Obama's "That's how I roll", Messi and the 'Zidane Tape'. Great skills btw...insane!!Savage!! And I liked the basement.
ahhsnap _xbox I think he might’ve wanted to be a footballer first because in an interview he said that he was to tall so he went to basketball but you might be right
Basketball was my first sport at 7yrs and Steve was the reason. He was like Iniesta or David Silva the way he dribbles and passes. When my height couldn’t qualify for basketball I saw Silva play and it was like watching Steve. I fell in love with futbol since then and now I play division1 soccer in uni. Thanks Unisport for this video. 💙
True. Basketball is like a backup sport for Europeans and South Americans. Since it’s much harder to make it as a Pro in those countries where competition in football is so massive. That’s why it’s valuable for naturally athletic kids to learn multiple sport disciplines for their development. They can pick and decide to specialize to a sport later on when the opportunity presents itself. Dirk Nowitzki can you imagine was a Handball and Tennis player. Gareth Bale played Rugby, Hockey and Athletics.
I always knew that Nash liked soccer, but it's best to see a Flamengo jersey, the biggest Brazilian club, on his special T-shirt mural. Now I admire him more.
Tremendous video! Steve Nash is one the most unique legendary athletes having the ability to go pro in both sports, but he dominated basketball and for a short white guy around players like Kobe, Shaq, Allen iverson, Dwayne wade, dirk, he was still able to be better then all of them for a brief period with 2x mvp which is absolutely nuts! I have always been curious about his football side of stories, so thank you for another great video!
I love Steve Nash. One reason is the hate that is Basketball vs Football or other sports (American Football vs Football)... We can love both. Learn from each other and grow. Steve Nash is a testament to this.
What a legend. Not just an amazing athlete but down to earth and humble. Never forgot where he came from and it all stemmed from a passion for sports. Steve is the perfecr example of a true athlete. Honestly; living the live Steve lives is the dream 👌
Best games I ever saw was my lakers Vs Phoenix Suns. Man this guy could play. I Always grew up watching the Lakers and been a Kobe (RIP) fan. But always love Nash. He was just at another level. Much respect.
I got to meet Steve in my hometown of San Antonio, Texas. I was definitely star struck, as he’s my favorite basketball player of all time, but he’s the most down to earth guy I’ve ever met. He’s a huge inspiration, and this was a really great video! Thank you for this one.
I actually met Steve Nash a couple of years ago at a restaurant. I got his autograph and a picture, and he was a really nice guy. I still cant believe that I met an NBA hall of famer, and the best Canadian basketball player.
being a basketball legend... and yet the room is filled with worn out boots of ronldinho and zizou, and jerseys of shevchenko and shearer..... now datz wat u call real passion for the game.
Damn this so amazing steve Nash doing playing both soccer n basketball. Is more than a legendary history. He might win run on soccer n make more money too.

Kobe actually was going to be a footballer...it was his passion and first sport when he grew up in barcelona!.
@@navidask8ter1 Wrong, he grew up in Italy, and is an AC Milan fan.

Really liked your final question! I think most people forgot that professional athletes still have to keep living there lives after they retire.
Steve Nash is for sure one of the best PGs of all time. Easy top 5 of all time for me. Very humble too, and is a football nerd like.
I love Steve Nash. One reason is the hate that is Basketball vs Football or other sports (American Football vs Football)... We can love both. Learn from each other and grow. Steve Nash is a testament to this.
