the piers you see in the video were for the fastlane naval base not far from where you are in helensburgh , i believe they used to test torpedos somewhere near these locataions.. another place you have to visit is inveraray - 10 -20 miles from arrocher. its where i was brought up , my father was the gamekeeper for Argyll we lived there for over 20years.
Good morning Jim the legend 😉 The place is really beautiful, wild nature and barren mountains... Really super cool! It is said that the cousin of the Loch Ness Monster resides in that lake and that he is a member and a big fan of yours, so expect that lizard to come out of the lake to take a picture with you. 😅 Don't worry because when he just ate he is really a good boy 🦕😇😂
Arrochar isn’t in the highlands bud, it’s Argyle and Loch Lomond/Trossachs national park area .Barely 20minutes from Glasgow suburbs . You need to travel another half hour to enter the highlands proper .
Hi Jim another great vlog. Would definitely like to see a review on the boots.
spent 13 years worth of hols up there in an old camper, the best times, wonderful country, nice one mate👍
I like to visit Arrochar for hill walking and hill running. Enjoy your stay
Just remember it rains a lot
I went on a National Holidays trip stopping in The Claymore Hotel in Arrochar. We visited Inveraray, Oban, Callander and Stirling Castle.
Thank you for the information as it sounds very interesting 🤔

Excellent vlog really captured the beauty of the scenery in Arrochar and equally the desolation. Busy main road though 👍

The loch swimmers arent out and about yet…
This is Bob Mortimer doing Bob Mortimer
Nessie was born there and if you walk on the road....you will be knocked down ..
