Hello friends. Is it spring yet where you are? Spring is fooling me here every day. (Well, technically it's winter until next week, but it feels like spring!) Flowers seem to have disappeared too fast. Camellias, magnolias, cherry blossoms - all bloomed so suddenly, then gone with the next chilling wind and a patter of raindrops. Sometimes I feel like I'm chasing time again. This is when I have to remind myself to keep living in the moment. I know, I say this all the time. But more than anything, it's a reminder to myself. I hope you will find a minute to do something quiet and joyful today. What does your most joyful moment look like?

Hello gain Daria ☺. Something new for you. Pick up any fallen flowers from the ground and squish them and use the petal juice to draw on a plain blank piece of art paper. I agree. It is a bit sad that the rhubarb is forced to grow in darkness. Perhaps it also affects the nutritional value of the plant. A pottery class sounds wonderful. I would enjoy seeing some of the things you've made. You could even make gifts for your friends.

I cannot get over how beautiful your surroundings are.. that skeleton leaf, the blooms, sigh.. where I live.. we have cacti and rocks, dirt.. I have always wanted to create my own dishes.. I'm actually on a waiting list to take a pottery class.. can't wait. 💞
That little beckon to the camera was delightful! I so enjoy the nature sequences that you film. All your subjects are lovely, but the nature ones have some extra ethereal brilliance. I've never actually seen rhubarb (when it's not already in a desert) before; don't know what I thought it would be, but I wasn't expecting it to look like long pink celery! 😆
I love this! Thank you! I have only been able to find rhubarb in specialty markets here in Northern California. But recently at my fav produce market, they have had rhubarb! I really want to try this crumble! That said, thank you for the reminder to make time for the small and sometimes ordinary things that bring us joy. As someone who is retired now from the the 9-5 job, I counsel all younger people to not wait till you are retired, or when the kids leave the nest or any other reason we tell ourselves or society tells us we need to put off. Don’t! Do the rhubarb crumble now! Do the art journaling now. Knit that sweater now! Wake up earlier than everyone in your home and enjoy a mindful savor of the morning cup and read. Do it. I thought about it too! 😄 It’s so true though, isn’t it! There are some things we simply put away - or activities we never get to do - because we’re afraid that now is not the right time. Well we only have now. Now is the only time! ❤️

Rhubarb is a great treat cooking the stalks and composting the poisonous leaves. Rhubarb and strawberries are delicious together with a bit of sweet added.❤

I would like to suggest using beeswax candles which clean the air and have no harmful particulates to breathe in which go down deep into the lungs. All other waxes are harmful and you being young would then be breathing all those harmful particulates for years….
I use beeswax whenever I can, but it’s difficult to find ready beeswax candles here. I make my own from time to time, so I still have a block of wax laying around for the purpose. 😊
It’s so lovely to see a woman look so feminine in a dress as it’s so rare these days. Everyone seems to wear jeans because they are so practical I suppose particularly in the winter. It’s a shame.
