Even though the bobbit worm generally is great bait, it isn’t always like that. In one of my next videos, I will show you why. Stay tuned ;) Music by: Bensound
Actually as long as one full segment exists, which is not that long, it will regrow a head and tail most of the times. Kind of like a hydra except there will only be one head to one body. The one in the bait bin could have been easy to make 10 or more new ones.
Cool footage man, I’m amazed how long those bobiit worms get. I’ll be back and check out your videos, as I’m just a ole hillbilly from the mountains who enjoys fishing. Also like the salt water videos and hope one day to try fishing in the big salty pond. Thanks for sharing your adventures, footage, time and ideas with us. Good fishing and calm seas to you our fish hook brother. 🎣🐟🎥💯👍
I learned the legs do also secrete venom i hope that you don t hurt yourself.. very valuable content here and very brave! Do you keep the solid jaws as souvenirs like sea shells?
If you cut it with scissors or a knife it bleeds to death, you have to take it by the tail with your hands and lift it, in this way it detaches a piece by itself without losing blood and continues to live.
Im new to this. What is the metal thing placed over the hole actually do? Does it have bait in it? I know its a trap of some sort, but why do they climb up to it?
Yes a piece of fish and at the beginning of the video he had a bottle with fish oils that he squirted on the hole!! What I don’t know is how he new there was a worm down there??
TIL some people capture eldritch horrors just to use them as fish bait. Now I want a story about eldritch abominations that are terrified of humans because humans just hunt them for sport.
Question.. would you be able to actually eat this fish considering that the bobbit worm is poisonous? If you can't eat it wouldn't that just be killing fish for sport ...
Bobbit worm dead but still catches fish

@@hankspield2661every piece wouldn’t be able to regenerate only the section with the head granted its hasn’t been severed too far up

Jeeesus how long is that bobit worm??
Great video thanks alot for your effort but try to use smaller hook and smaller piece of the worm to be easier for the fish to eat it in one bite❤

AMAZING! Where did you buy that trap?😆
So ... that makes you Lorena Bobbit?
Wow never seen a video like this! One question, how do you find the worms, are you looking for a hole in the ground? Thanks for the vids keep it up!
Thank you! Yes, something like that. I have multiple videos about bobbit worms on my channel so make sure to check them out.
Very nice mate💪⚓🎣😍
4 inches of bobbit worm cost like 10 bucks$$$ why do they make good bait?

You want a thing like that to continue to live?
@@gwang3103 why not
He dead but still can catch fishs 💀💀💀
Whats a chad .
Pre dobar video 👍👍👍
This is genius but I'm still grossed out.

There is inside a small piece of sardine (as usually) for bait. The bobbit worm always goes for it. It is a very hungry creature.

Do the worms have a strong odor. Large sand fleas that are about the size of one inch have a strong odor and are the best bait I have ever used..
Was it still alive when you cut it??
What kind of fish are they?
What country is
🤔🤔🤔

Where did you hear that it’s “poisonous?” I think you meant venomous, but I don’t think it’s venomous or poisonous.
If you look it up it's on the 1st page of google
It is not venomous. We deal with them very often as bait here in Mediterranean Sea.
@@Spyros_Mazarakis not the same worm, different kind of worms around the world
Using a predator to catch fish... Somehow that works so um that's cool I guess
A lot of predatory fish and animals are used as bait... Especially as cut-bait. It's very standard.
Idk why fish think this good lmao
how deep is the water there ? :o
I hate bobit worms!
