  • Even though the bobbit worm generally is great bait, it isn’t always like that. In one of my next videos, I will show you why. Stay tuned ;)

Actually as long as one full segment exists, which is not that long, it will regrow a head and tail most of the times. Kind of like a hydra except there will only be one head to one body. The one in the bait bin could have been easy to make 10 or more new ones.

@@hankspield2661every piece wouldn’t be able to regenerate only the section with the head granted its hasn’t been severed too far up

Cool footage man, I’m amazed how long those bobiit worms get. I’ll be back and check out your videos, as I’m just a ole hillbilly from the mountains who enjoys fishing. Also like the salt water videos and hope one day to try fishing in the big salty pond. Thanks for sharing your adventures, footage, time and ideas with us. Good fishing and calm seas to you our fish hook brother. 🎣🐟🎥💯👍

  • @kasualegames5775

If you cut it with scissors or a knife it bleeds to death, you have to take it by the tail with your hands and lift it, in this way it detaches a piece by itself without losing blood and continues to live.

There is inside a small piece of sardine (as usually) for bait. The bobbit worm always goes for it. It is a very hungry creature.

TIL some people capture eldritch horrors just to use them as fish bait.
Now I want a story about eldritch abominations that are terrified of humans because humans just hunt them for sport.
