Hi everyone,
Here’s how I create an autumnal flower arrangement in Oasis floral foam with a candle and a small pumpkin.
Let's gather my supplies:
For this project, I will be using this beautiful rustic metallic amphora container, Oasis floral foam, a piece of cellophane, ordinary clear tape, a pillar candle, a candle holder (optional), a little ceramic pumpkin, reindeer moss, flowers, and greenery. And, of course, my favourite utility knife, a long knife to cut the floral foam, a vase to soak the floral foam in, and a branch I found outside.
Let's start with preparing the Oasis Foam by roughly measuring the piece we will need. Cut the foam to fit your container, then soak it in a vase full of fresh water until fully saturated.
I like to start inserting in floral foam my biggest pieces of greenery; in this case, I have gorgeous autumn-coloured oak leaves. Then I add a touch of leather leaves and ruscus iItaly. When I feel the foam is covered but not stuffed, I insert other flowers like hypericum berries, mums, and roses.
Try to mix different sizes and shapes of blooms to create depth and texture.
If it is October, why not add a small decorative ceramic pumpkin to make it feel even more autumnly?

Secure the Candle:
Insert the candle in the centre of the foam. If the foam is unstable, use a candle holder or floral tape.
Final Touches: Step back and adjust as needed. The arrangement should look lush and full but not overcrowded. Make sure the overall shape is balanced and pleasing.
A candle in the centre adds a warm, inviting glow to your floral creation.
