One of the last shows he did was on WCBS-FM where he did his second appearance during the “New York Radio Greats” Sunday night feature back in December 2007, just about three months before he died. I have an airchecks of his final show on New York radio. He was also on WXLO’s “99X” back in the 1970’s when he was on at the time.
Ross Britton as you can see in his interview, is now doing part time work on WCBS-FM on Sunday afternoons. He is also a friend of Scott Shannon back in the good old Z100 in the 1980’s as part of the “Morning Zoo” team.
And prior to that he did his first morning show on WABC-AM in 1981 with Brian Wilson (not a member of The Beach Boys) as part of "Ross & Wilson" as a morning during the station's final year as a music station. When the station flipped to talk in May 1982, they remained in mornings until he left in 1983 to joined WHTZ's "Z100" with Scott Shannon.
Ross Britton also been part of mornings on WOGL from 2004 until July 2015 where he did his last morning show ever. I still have an aircheck of his final morning show in my collection. That was before he back to New York and did his Sunday's show on WCBS-FM in 2016 where he took over Sue O'Neal's spot, and also did some fill-in's during the holidays and also filled in for Patti Steele during Scott Shannon's morning show.

So sad, I listen to him as a kid when he was on WCFL in Chicago at night in the 70s. Too young to be taken away from us!

I know of those names, Ross Brittain (who used to be on WABC when it was a Music station before it went to talk radio in 1982; Ross teamed with Brian Wilson for the morning drive. Ross later became part of the original WHTZ Z100 Morning Zoo with Scott Shannon and others) and Big Ron O'Brien, God rest his soul, used to be on WNBC Radio 66 AM. All in the New York City area. I used to listen to them!

Sorry to see a Pop/Rocker Air Personallity gone at such a young age. He still had plenty of energy and drive to hold an audience, not matter what type of music he was playing.
