Love these videos. Small suggestion: when you list the builds... could you also list the free cash on screen? I know you always mention it but as the conversation moves on it's easy to forget.
Nobles or Necro as those two have problems putting a roster together. Also for the first 3RR build the obvious looking tactic is to drop the goblin after first game and play with a journeyman instead while saving for an apo.
Great videos, can’t wait for more! Sadly I don’t play a lot f leagues and it tends to be more one off games. Would you change your rosters much for that or do you think they still work for an individual match?
Adam Pearse Hey Adam! If you’re playing at 1 million then I wouldn’t change them up all that much! But I would try and trick your opponent into playing at 1.1mil - that’s where most of these rosters are comfortable 😁 so you’d get all the 8 brawlers, a thrower, and 3 RR at that point - and that’s a very very strong Orc list!!
Great vids on the orcs.. Looking to play "normal" Orcs as well as my Black orcs.. And use a couple of those Blorcs as Big ´uns to start up easier - ie less to paint.. ;)
I think I'll play this: 1 Thrower, 3 Blitzers, 3 Big Uns, 3 Lineorcs, 2 Gobbos, 3 RR. Leaves 15K in the bank. Though Gobbos are more fragile you can freely use him for fouls in this setup, you'll always have a backup and he does offer an okay pass target. Animosity or not, it's still possible to pass and that's good enough for me. I always had the feeling that I could manage with a blocker less, though a Blitzer less MIGHT hurt.
@@BoneheadPodcast I've played three blackorcs as starters in leagues pretty often and it didn't really hurt to be honest. Throwing in a Gobbo does suprisingly boost the teams ability to react to different situations. The additional speed is simply invaluable in Orc teams. I wish it would be possible to add snotlings to an Orc team as well though. I'd love to field a team with every kind of Greenskin.
@@BoneheadPodcast I think a split in two Big Uns and two Black Orcs would be already fine ;) Could do the same with Gobbos and split them in two Gobbos and two Snotlings, while the Snots keep their rule for bringing a few more of them.
My orcs are themed for only Orcs so I'm never gonna take the goblins or trolls, bit of a shame about animosity, but I feel the general orcs smash play-style wont change too much. I'm just unsure about the thrower throwing, might have him as a dedicated runner but I think I'd prefer 3 linemen to shore up the front, worry about re-rolls later
I was planning on getting the new starter box and just combine the Orc and Black Orc teams to have all the positionals available to me. And on the plus side if there is a Orc mixed team in the future I already have a team :D
Yeah animosity on the thrower is a deal breaker for me. Will probably just go the route of carrying the ball on a gobbo, and even that seems like a bad go of things. XD
I dont have the troll as it's probably the worst big guy where the big uns are so useful once they level up a bit...orcs are actually quite good at every aspect of the game so you can power the opponents out the way.... and they are good enough to use a passing game to finish the td....I have found they struggle against teams that can match them for strength :-)
I agree with the Troll at low levels - but once Orcs get over the 1150 hump they tend to have enough cash... and why not get a ST5 guy at that point! Orcs could be scary again!
@@BoneheadPodcast for bb2 I did make a dream team with legendary teams...I chose agility 4 ogres as recievers...they were awesome just now and again stopped just squares from the end zone in stupid mode....but for an experiment I'd recommend it it's like having 2 lomus....so yep a S5 guy is always useful :-)
Cool, my roster is not part in this Video. 3RR 4blitzer 3bubs 1 troll 3 gobos. The troll needs amunittion an also goblins are not bad. U just habe to know how to play aggolity players tmm. Then rush bub, or apo

Rui Oliveira Consider it done Rui! Thanks for the suggestion 😁😁👍👍
Brilliant! Thanks. I have played BB for many years and still learnt lots. I hope you do the other teams soon as well.

Henri Ek Poor Goblin 💔😉
good to see you back and blocking, unlucky some bad dice,, but some nice upgrades for the next match

Late to the party. Thoughts on a 4 BUB, 2 blitzer, troll, 4 goblin, 3RR build?
Top notch stuff Ben. I would never pick up mr throw now. I'd rather just risk the roll on a blitzer or a lineman. Who have more MV and AV.
What about 1 troll, 4 big'ums, 4 blitzers and 2 linemen? How much money would be left over?
Troll 115
4 BUBs 360 (475)
4 Blitzers 320 (795)
2 Line 100 (895)
Oof that’s tough with 60k Rerolls!!
Yeah 1 re-roll won't be enough for a W

Dis you leave FTL running on you computer?
Hahaha, it's just retro back ground music - but I probably was playing FTL that day!

That’s a clever way to get everything in 😁 and I quite like the use of Gobbos (Any Stunty really) as a dodgey-runner!

Ahhhhh that’s the dream! Keep an eye out for Mixed Team events in the future 😁 we love ‘em! (Black Orc / Orc roster... 10 BUB/BOBs 😍😂)

1 Thrower, 1 Troll, 2 Blitzers, 1 Lineorc, 2 Big Uns, 1 Black Orc, 2 Gobbos, 2 Snotlings. Sounds right to me :P
Wizards aren't in the game anymore right? So basically have to spend the cash on the star players
Hey Lonewolf - the basic Sporting Wizard *is* in the rulebook!! 🧙♂️
@@BoneheadPodcast what the heck
I am looking forward to relearning how to make the new Orcs a winning team 😏

You can take a gobbo in game 1, then fire him and use journeymen lineorcs until you can afford to buy one. Much cheaper than buying the 3rd re-roll
@@Flame19judgement my orcs are themed though, only orcs allowed

Ohh man that would be a sweet looking team! And what a power house 😂 10 Black Orcs!!
@@BoneheadPodcast and the gobbo to carry the ball
10x BUB/BOBs (900)
1x Gobbo (940)
1x Reroll (1000) 🤔😏 perfect! Hahah

Sounds about right
😂😂😂 I can only apologise
I like the 4 blitzers 4 bubs 2 linos goblin 3 rr but i would change it slightly drop gobblin and 1 rr get thrower level him asap get leader on him
Cool beans

Not enough troll love. Goblins next?
I hope BUB's level up quick because my BOB's sure as hell don't lol. Thrower build looks safe.
Football Head With the new 3SPP random skill - it only takes a single MVP or a couple of casualties to take a chance! 🤞

Noob question what is a BUB
I have a hard time justifying that Thrower currently.

Wow, that’s a cool midrange Orc list!! I like it!
Once you take animosity into account, the orc lineman is a better thrower than the orc thrower
Lineman throwing quick pass to a non-Lineman is 50%. The Thrower is 74.1%.
@@ThanatoselNyx yeah but the line O is 15K cheaper, and can successfully hand-off 100% of the time.
Umm no. Not even remotely true.
Orcd are still the best team in Blood Bowl!
Humanity is taking a bit of a kicking at the moment. How do they look in BB2020? It can’t be any worse, right?!!!
It'll take me a while to call them Bubs I'll most likely forget & call them black orcs
Haha, Ian, you're not alone! I think they'll be Black Orcs to a lot of coaches for a looong time!
First
Ah yes, orcs being nerfed with animosity is completely fair. It's almost like GW wants to sell new models at the cost of old ones....
