Special Event Makeup for Mature Women

Why do you go so dark when doing event makeup on matriarchs?
Events usually involve lots of photographing. So finding the balance between not too heavy for face to face but dark enough to show up well in photographs is important.
It might look darker in person but in videos & photographs, you’ll notice it’s not too much.
Same goes with brightening under the eyes. Using a loose powder that prevents any flash back is important. Brightening makes sure any shadows that may be cast on the under eye from lashes or poor lighting is counter-balanced when you use a brightening concealer & powder.
