@@solfh no offense but MJTY is miles ahead than LBFAD. sure, it created dylan and esther's amazing chemistry but the story, cinematography, and CGI in that is a little all over the place. it looked a bit too cartoonish, but then that may be because it's a fantasy drama. MJTY, on the other hand, was just spectacular in all aspects (except for that ending). it brought out esther's versatililty as an actress, who's only ever played cutesy and bubbly characters until now. it also highlighted even more zhang linghe's potential as a main lead actor. most of all, the cinematography is groundbreaking, especially the way it perfectly captured the actors' emotional and action scenes. it is a very well-made drama indeed with a sensational storyline.
It definitely is one of the highest quality TV productions I've seen coming out of China. There's a few others that are good too that's come out in the last few years, but the choreography on this one was top notch, I generally speed through the fight scenes, but in this series I was totally mesmerized by the beauty of it all. I haven't made it to the end yet...but I'm in no hurry and will probably rewatch this bc its a worthwhile watch.
It is an excellent series, the protagonists are excellent actors and very beautiful! But it would have been excellent if the two of them had had more intimate scenes with more love!!
