it's very sad what we have done to our beautiful planet. we have destroyed it, our only home. our last hope is to conserve, recycle, save lives, etc.
+katelynfe We haven't destroyed it. Earth will survive without a doubt. The question is if humanity will survive.
+FAMOLS1 Gf forget humanity think of the rest, they suffer because of our presence.....
+FAMOLS1 true the earth is strong will survive but we might not, unless you're going to heaven
the planet will survive. like everyone else said. but what else will? definitely not humans. maybe plant life or land animals.
+katelynfe The planet is fine, the people are fucked.
We have to save the Blues. I'm no activist, but as far as we know, this is the heaviest creature to ever inhabit our planet. Special interest is needed here.
I know. I am such a whale fan, I believe these majestic creatures are not entirely different from humans. Killing them is just barbaric.
Jay P That we know, at least. We have explored very little of the ocean so who knows if there's an even bigger creature.
yo o I believe I said "as far as we know", but to think that there is anything larger than Blue Whales in our oceans today is a bit naive.
Jay
Jay P I see your point, 15% of the ocean has been explored, who knows what lurks down there
This made me cry. Just seeing how beautiful and innocent that creature is and we are killing them off
Not anymore, fortunately
That...that left me speechless. Honestly, I can't find words to fit. Just wow
Goosebumps! I'm amazed that Blue Whale is the largest animal ever seen in our planet and it still exist in our era. I hope they continue to live on in the future.
@ajajaaukka There's been dinosaurs discovered that are 40+ meters in length l, class as titanosaurus, including the Argentinosaurus I think
@CAlcz...Longest doesn't equal LARGEST...not to mention, a difference of 20 ft isn't much to brag about if the blue whale is heavier...
I'm only in my 20's and some day I want to be able to swim with these amazing creatures but I'm afraid that when the time comes they are already long gone :(
Same 💔
All three of will die first..
A swim course doesnt take 10 years so take your shot now
Don't do it unless you are an activist. If not, you'll damage them greatly
I see I have had a few comments against my dream and I just want to say I'm not someone who even has an instagram or ignorant about these animals but I have to say that probably my dream never comes true because I really fear open waters and big things in the water make me feel icky, some kind of fobia from childhood but I think you're right it's probably best to leave these animals alone if you're not working with them or study them professionally. I have heard that in some countries they will bring a lot of tourists to see whales and not safely for the animals or even the tourists. So unprofessional and harming. So better to leave them alone than chasing them for an "experience". Many people mean well but doesn't really understand what they are doing, it really doesn't make it ok though.
This animation was sick 4:51
not as much as the first encounter never even possible for me to be INTERESTED vice versa
The biggest creature ever lived on earth..
I wish I could see one in my lifetime
The divers are soooooo lucky
That was absolutely amazing! The scenes together with the music is EPIC
Just made me so emotional. We r fortunate to have these incredible creatures on our planet
Favorite video ever. I come back to watch every couple of weeks to give myself some perspective. . . Thanks all.
I tell myself I'm not going to cry, but 13:13 hits me EVERY time ❤️
It's crazy to think that we will never know if there was a bigger species way back because there are underwater animals who specialize in decomposing and eating bone. If it weren't for those creatures, we would find amazing fossils nowadays maybe even bigger than a blue whale who knows.
For the people who disliked this amazing video they are messed up
Thanks who film this video, i can't have the professional of diving , thank you that we can see the beautiful creatures under the ocean!!!!!
Every species on the planet has a story to tell, I bet something like a bobfish has an amazing story
These two latest videos were amazing and really beautiful. Hope GoPro will keep this kind of content going :) Great job!
And this one definitely gives us the will to create a brighter future and to act for this world not to be poisoined anymore!
What a moment. What a beauty. It’s surreal.
can we just talk about how synchronous 12:38 was?
"we're thinking she'll give us a goodbye kiss, just maybe"
*whale immediately emerges beside boat*
that's one of the most inspirational and moving videos I've ever seen. goosebumps! Our planet is so amazing, every one of us should do their best to preserve it
awesome video worth all 16 minutes! wish this message can reach everyone!
The Titan of nature itself. Stunning.
That could not have been filmed any better, my goodness. You even got it when it's mouth was full, making it even bigger!
Then you swam up level to it's eye and filmed it staring at you?? Then diving?!?
100 thumbs up, outstanding job people
13:00 -- Actual footage of a Blue Whale finally begins. --At 4:54 short and important Conservation message begins with cool animation.
I cried just by watching this amazing video. :)
What a magnificent creature it’s so big and graceful
The largest animal in history.
TwistedOracle wrong
Killer Keenster how is that statement wrong
That we know of
TwistedOracle not anymore biggest animal that ever lived was amphicoelias
No. Dont forget bloop
Getting my scuba diving certification, and getting a degree in marine biology/ oceanography. I may be one of the last generations to witness the beauty of so many creatures in the ocean that may end up extinct, and I intend to do all I can with my life to preserve it.
God I love this planet.. and this creature!
whale blu is one god.
I love whales
This is the right way to do the Blue Whale challenge.
what a game changer ...what a life changer...so grateful for this video.emotionaly shook me to the core.such a beautiful mammal.
They are so unimaginably huge!! I could tell the diver was closer to me than the tail, yet the tail was still way bigger than the diver! It was messing with my sense of proportions haha
Simply the best video on youtube !!
“We are all connected “ ✌🏼
In 200 years people will look back on this particular period and say to themselves. How did those people at that time just allow all this amazing creatures to vanish. If we all loss hope there is no hope theres still alot left that is worth fighting for.
just wanted to thank you for your amazing work!!
Fascinating ...
Damn, brought tears to my eyes.
It is worth mentioning though, that blue whale numbers were at around 5000 in 2002 and nowadays they're close to 25000. Granted that's nowhere near the original 200k+ population, but still, they're being protected now and there is hope for them.
i'm depressed now. :(
obviously like the seaman cant be interested in me im 100% sure. there must be something else than just being PHYSICALLY interested
Amazing. Goose bumps at the end.
The camera doesn’t even nearly show us how big this thing really is!
WOW ! Such a gentle Giant this whale is ! last night a Fly came into my room started buzzing around annoying me ,when I grab the Mosquito Swatter to smash it I suddenly remember this video and I thought to myself that I would be just like this fly compared to this blue whale , it would see me as small as this fly but would not harm me , so i decided Not to kill the fly an be a gentle giant
this brings lots of insight. humans are their own bane and cure. it's sad seeing that we have so much potential and knowledge but we waste on things that will only bring failure and pain. we are slowly destroying ourselves but we have a chance to fix that. earth will survive but we might not. and maybe that's for the better good but there is a chance we have to change, so let's not waste it.
wow that was a beautiful moment when they took video of blue whale, truly amazing
That thing is huge unbelievable
I love the Life Aquatic reference with the red hat.
Soo beautiful (crying tears of joy and happiness)
😱😱😱😱😱😱😱OH MY GOT!!!!!!!!!
GREAT WHALE!!!!!
AND GREAT PEOPLE, WELL DONE! IT'S WONDERFUL!!!!!
15:00 "if we all lose hope, there is no hope" srsly?
+KALynge What's the best way not to lose hope? Answer: don't lose hope
+KALynge First use is a verb, second is the noun
People die when their killed.
How would you know?
+MacGuffinSC Every time someone writes "their" instead of "they're", a cute kitten dies.
Truly at awe.
OMG!!! that close...never seen something like this
Gopro and blue whales are greatest thing on the planet !
Very life Aquatic with Steve Zesue love it!!
Interesting fact: (however about sperm whales)
A space shuttle launch is about 180 db-
A sperm whale's click can be over 200 db, which is more than enough to vibrate a human being to death.
Researchers believe they use this ability to stun their main prey, giant squids, making them the largest animal on the planet to use audio-offencive tactics.
They also use this to communicate with other sperm whales to potentially talk to other whales on the other side of the globe.
Look up James Nestor's video on sperm whales- super interesting.
Isn't it crazy how the largest living creature can hide from our eyes by simply diving a bit deeper? Makes you think what else could be lurking down there...
dear god that man would be an absolute nightmare to work for/with. hes reaming his divers out for not being in position and not getting the shot. hes just yelling from the boat and pointing. the divers cant see what he sees from his crows nest. That aside he was certainly under alot of stress to get these shots which i firmly agree are something worth doing. While I havent seen his movie, im always happy to see someone championing the giants of the oceans in a way that can actually help instead of making people view anyone who tries to protect wildlife as being eco terrorists like ALF&ELF (thanks PETA). So while he does seem to be an absolute jackass, it in no way affects the mans passion and drive to try to educate ppl and save these giants is an exceptional and vital achievement
I was on the Great Barrier Reef a few weeks ago. While there are still many mind-bogglingly beautiful spots, there are huge expanses that just look grey and dead. It’s quite horrifying how effectively we’re destroying the most incredible ecosystem on the planet.
Absolutely beautiful
people say magnificent creature biggest creature beautiful creature but what about the creator of this magnificent creature the beautiful creator the bigger creator he made everything and this creature he made every know and unknown to us and there are many Miracles that are uncountable and will never be countable
So moving. Thank you
How swiftly it went deep into the ocean and vanished
Beautiful...
There is an old line from Walking With Beasts from the BBC that rings True if any of this has shown us everything it's that no species lasts forever.
that was simply beautiful. Thank you.
So majestic 😢😄
Shit made me cry and I never cry it’s beautiful.
Its actually financially perfectly doable to stop minimize pollution and waste. Not to mention profitable on long run, easy to see looking at what direction we are going. Put enough tax on waste and market will do the rest. Tax should be way to guide market so it serves public good. At the moment you can't really see too much care for health of us and planet.
Epic video guys keep the good work up!
So amazing...I could just sense or feel the wisdom of this and all cetaceans really. I have a hunch they are trying desperately to tell us all something. Or am I just nuts?
We've waited too long. Its time we got a go-pro.
When I sailed from Seattle, WA up into Canada it was ridicules our first stop on our to Victoria we saw thousands of pieces of trash
It's really sad, isn't it. That shit is washed up everywhere nowadays.
Dandy Whale yeah it is
That must’ve felt amazing
Truely magnificent
12:14
Yeah, that is definitely not what rope a dope is lol
LMFAO
How could we let nature's most biggest gentle giants go on the verge of extinction
Oil saved the whales. Not humans.
Let's unite to save the animals and the earth!
Just imagine what different type of sea creatures that live in the oceans of other worlds in galaxy's millions of light years away. 😬
Beautiful video
How lucky are we to witness the largest animal to ever have existed on earth?
Beautiful video.
13:00 if you want to skip the hippie-liberal whining.
Andrew Fallon how is it whining? If you like this creature so much then why would u want to kill it.
absolutely beautiful! thank you so much
It went down like like one of those celebrities avoid paparazzi without huff and puff
All those stressed people in this video got me really stressed but beautiful whale.
"we have this image we are not part of them" but in the end, we are all part of all.
I rly have to se one before my time is up . Great video . Tums up
Surprised to hear Ronald jenkees here :)
Brought to you by GoPro, king of excessive packaging.
The blue whale in action: 13:12 ( so beautiful)
Glory to God who made these
Damn that was deep
Most smart than human!
That was hugeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Amazing!! Amazing!!! 👏👏
I ENVY THEEEEEM OH GOD
The Most Dangerous Animal on Earth, it's HUMAN !!
Such a majestic creature. Stop whaling!!! We need whales to balance our ecosystem. Let’s protect the whales.
Very educational
I love this! It really shows what we humans are doing to things.
Man, we suck
8:23 does anyone know what that is?
Lindo.... simplesmente lindo
