Hey mate, I've been watching your vids since you moved to cairns. Little bit about me, I'm a 26 year old cairns local, born and bred, I have a custom built norweld punt, I'm a divemaster and aluminium fabricator by trade. I'm out there every single weekend if not weekday after work always hunting Barra, jacks, grunter, fingermark, nanny's and mudcrabs. Don't want to post my number here but feel free to contact me if your keen on a proper session.
Love your attitude towards FNQ and life mate, would be more then happy to show you some action. Being a local of 26 years and an ex coral/ fish collector I know a few spots 👌

what does a complete crabing video look like 1- catch them 2- clean and prepare for cooking 3- sitting down and enjoying an amazing meal boiled or steamed or cooked up in some good recipes and filming the whole thing in detail

Never drop a pot on dry land and you need to have a legal float, even if you tie it off on a tree. Get a long gaff for picking up the pots so you don't need to put your hands near the water. And stop hanging your arms over the side of the boat.
