Interesting. I just did a point yesterday on my Weber kettle. 7 hour cook and 2 hour rest. Turned out fantastic. Only drawback is adding charcoal and wood chunks from time to time where the pellet would be less work.
@@rodneytrotter8441 I don't know about smokers specifically, but some of the stuff aluminum foil gives off in high heat has been linked to Alzheimer's and dementia.

Haven’t done that yet.
This was interesting. I'd never heard of Lion's Mane Mushroom before. Amazon sells kits to grow them and they're not expensive at all. Pretty cool.
I’ve tried to seed some woods we have but no luck so far.
Looks amazing 😃
I still like having the fat cap up. I enjoy the flavor and extra moisture. Looks good.
The forever debate, right? 🤣
Asmoke advises against using foil on the interior panel
Where is this stated?
@@TeachaMantoFish It is stated in the documentation supplied with the unit

How long did you cook at 250?
Probably about 2 hours? However, don’t get hung up on time. Cook to temperature, it varies from meat to meat and day to day conditions.
I would love to chat with you about the AS700P if possible. I sent you a PM on Facebook.
Let’s try and catch up this weekend
I don’t see a pm
