This was fantastic and exactly the tutorial needed to try straightening for 1st time. Only point of improvement is to recommend these 3/8 inch thin pencil straighteners cause regular ones are too big to catch meaningful amounts of hair on most guys. Trying the Kapuzi one it’s nice
Wow this video seriously changed my hair style game, as a guy who spikes his hair into a matte style pomp and it always drove me crazy those spots that just wouldnt spike cause the natural curl in my hair and the amount of cowlicks so doing it the way he suggests helped immensely. Especially that tip about making sure your hair is dry before straightening cause had he not said that I would have gone in with damp hair.
BluMaan omg I am loving your videos so much also I just wanted to say that I really love the fact that you are so nice soo funyy and just cute soo you are really an amazing boy your wife is very lucky !!♥♥btw please respond if you are reading this okay byee! !♡ ♥ ♡
Blumaan plz answer I bought cavalier for my thick fine hair so it works perfectly but I just tugs a little bit so any hacks to smoothin it a little bit love u joe
I have a little bit curly hair and i always using a hair straightener and always i did not succeed very much but now with your tips my hair look GREAT! Thank you!
No no no you got it all wrong. You’re supposed to say why does he look like a floating head and arms. The camouflage is supposed to make it look like there is completely nothing there. Not just that there’s no shirt 🤦🏻♀️
Thank you for the tips..my hair was going frizzy because before this I used straightener without hair protection and I straight my hair in damp circumstance
Joe, you should make a series called: "How To Style [insert hair type]" This series will help many people who are struggling to deal with their hair type. For example, I struggle to maintain volume throughout the day with my fine hair. For this series you can feature different hair RUclipsrs with different hair types. Also, add dem noice special fx/editing!
I also have fine hair and I've tried all the hyped up products out there and the best results I've gotten so far is using a mousse for the prestyler cause it's very light and then I use a boost powder for post styling cause it's also so light and you get crazy volume that lasts all day. I actually wake up with serious volume the next day if I use that combo, not even kidding. Try it sometime!
mines exactly the opposite lmao. it’s extremely fine but extremely thick so it’s way to voluminous and i look more like Asian bob Ross than anything. not a good thickness tho, it’s like when a cat has super thick hair and it mats up
It’s already straight and non frizzy though, just use a hold hairspray like Pantene’s one and you spare yourself like 5 minutes and from the heat damage.
I'm just saying, no offense or anything, but your using a hair straightener when your hair is already pretty straight, can you do a video on how to make your hair straight when it's currently really curly
Abhi Nadendla Hair straighteners aren't necessarily just to straighten hair, I for example have straight hair but I use the straightener to fold the front part of my hair backwards in a sort of quiff
Anthony Cedeno, nah. I’m able to get the quiff with the blow dryer and brush but the straightener if you do it right you can get a really nice curve to your quiff
Funny part is your hair looks awesome now and when you step outside with a little bit of wind it will blow it apart. And you dont want to look in to a mirror every hour. It looks awesome but i find it hard to believe it is so easy to maintain such a cool hairstyle everyday of the week 😅
Dat Boii i cant man. My hair wont stay that way in the first place because i have very thick hair, hairspray isnt for me. I use gel alot of the time. Very strong one lol
dont use gel bro, use clay. i have same style and length as him atm and use claymation which still lets me ruun my hands through my hair but remains quite well put together outdoors and even while working out
I'm trying to grow my hair out so that I can style in a way of combing it down across my face but a little to the side. I don't really know the name of it or what products are best for it.
@@danielchouaib9383 Even with this pandemic, barber shops being closed for so long, no 😅. Completely short now! Have made changes since but the cold weather & running for the morning bus was what made me decide to keep it short 🤷
hi men, i have a quick question? i want my hair straight permanently and i always brought hair relaxing treatments evsry 3 months ,, and now i was planning to brought hair straightener? should i brought hair straightener or hair relaxer?
i'm trying to find a way to make the top of my hair look thick and dry without blow drying. the reason i'm asking is because i use a greasy looking foam that is applied to the scalp of my hair. it will obviously mix with my hair as well since i have to rub it in with my finger. the foam i use is a topical finasteride + minoxidil compound that counters male pattern baldness. when applied, i need to leave it dry on its own. so can't blow dry or anything otherwise it would kill the material. so is there a way i can make my hair dry and thick via anything (e.g. hair straightener) without drying the liquid that's in my scalp? hope my question makes sense
hey joe i have watched all your videos im a seriously a fan of the way you talk about the hair care products , I've noticed that you sound like Christopher walkin lol that's a major complement . Keep doing what you do and never stop
I mean, the method you prefer, the 2nd one, is the best for your hair because it's sideways, clearly it's for your hairstyle. I'd try the first one because that's mine
Ya I wouldn't do that. I'd use a blow dry cream. Blow it out with round brush. Make sure hair is completely dry. Then take a product like redkens hot sets 22. It's a light spray that's meant to go on dry hair you want to spray a light mist far away. Comb it through the strands and then flat iron. Repeat process. Done. Reason being is that heat from iron is like 3 times as hot as blow dryer. You need something stronger. The spray will also make your hair sleeker and shiner+give you some good hold if you decide to curl it rather then straighten it
My hair is still about 3 inches, but when I try to use a straightener on it; it just gets pin straight and REALLY STIFF. There is no bend to it at all once I straighten it. Any advice?
Hey guys so I bought cavalier clay it works perfectly for me but only on issue when I distributed the product it was tugging I saw like 20 hairs in my hand and hacks to smoothin it thx
I have a problem with using a hair straightener and Im not sure if im doing it wrong. But often times when I use it my hair will be stick straight but its flying everywhere as if i got electrocuted and I cant control it at all
For me, I blow-dry correctly and I flat iron it to get volume and my hair is high and looks good but as soon as I add the product it flattens out. What am I doing wrong?
*hey,* may I ask something that i've never seen a youtube video or forum thread about like I don't know what the empty line that seperates the top from the sides of the hair ( my english is bad yes ) but both of my lines are weird, the first one which my barber has made to me with the trimmer is so far, like close to the middle of my head, and the other, which is natural, goes from the normal point, from front, to the center of my head ,in the back, so it's like a curve instead of a straight 0° horizontal line ( my english is bad again yes ) . So what should I do, they are both so weird, and make my sides look large,( i may provide an axplanation picture in the reply), that's if anyone has read this
stuqedits I don't know whats the name of that line either I'm sorry LOL but I think I get what you mean. are you sure that Original has enough heat protection for a straightener? Because there are sprays for like up to 450 degrees, so is Original good enough?
So my hair is thick and fluffy, but have this one really bad curl and as the day goes on it curls out of the hold and not even that long after i do my hair, and its really annoying how do i fix it? I use a medium hold paste its kinda common, how do i stop the curl? Up the paste? Use a stronger hold? Different product? Should i use clay? Should i use gel? Paste? Hair spray? Also how do i stop split ends? I get them horrible and i dont know why, i wash my hair every other day. Also is there anyway to keep my hair soft with product in, my hair when i use paste like gets this hard kinda texture

Still in the UK or back to Canada?
How can you do a hair straightener video and not cover what temp to set the straightener on as if you assume guys know that sort of thing.
Usually max
200 degrees Celsius or 420 Fahrenheit is the best imo
2k left for 1 million bro you are rocking.....
The cavalier clay is the only post-styler I use, I love the natural feel

Damn, I was over here using a hair straightener without heat protection with completely wet hair after getting out of the shower. Hot damn.
He’s rocking that jimmy neutron cut/style lol only jokes nice vid 😂
Joe : You are right about using the straighteners. I learned the hard way. That is too much heat. You have to know how to use one before you do it.
Thanks joe for the information. I love your video and I really learn from your videos. You are my Guru
Why is your head floating like that?
Do you follow the same steps using the heat protectant spray
How many times to use the straightener?
