Dry Falls is a great hike. Giant pits where water swirled massive boulders around, creating giant bowls in the landscape during the Missoula floods

North Central OR, I've found red, green, and blue Jade,
southern OR, outside of Medford, giant chunks of quartz crystal, opals, giant chunks of petrified wood with quarts growing out of it,
Got quite the collection from all over the PNW

Great job on the video, hopefully we get to see you go back to your little honey hole for the pet wood and more places. Have you done anything with your finds?

I remember Moses Coulee. One of the greats of the ABA. No wait I made that up... however great episode! My kid loves rockhounding. That camera work was amazing and this was as fun as any fishing episode (of any channel).

Did you make it over to Moses Coulee? I'm curious as to what the access is like now.

New sub. Great video, nice work.
It's always a good day when you can fill your "goody bag" with treasure like that.
I hound the Mississippi River Valley around the IL, IA, WI tri-state area, we have water moccasins and the occasional timber rattler. I always carry a bite-kit in my pack because we like to camp on some of the islands with gravel bars. We rockhound during the day and fish at night. A water moccasin on one of those islands made me glad I had it once in '98. Hope you never need yours.
Alex, if you plan more rockhound trips like this, check out #thefinders. Rockhounds gather there.
    Thanks for sharing, and...
Good Luck, Have Fun, and Keep on Houndin'...
    Steve...
