  • Welcome to the FordLogan woven wire mesh installation video on Slide-up Service Window Assembly.
Begin by attaching the 5’x8’ panel (or whatever size panel you are using) to a standard panel to panel connection or to a line post. The instructions for these connections are in the FordLogan panel to panel instructional video library. Make sure to orient the panel so that the window is secure or inside the wire enclosure.
The 5’x8’ panel comes with a track and frame system pre-installed for the inside track of a 24”x21” slide-up service window. Check to make sure the spring latches are located at the bottom of the window. If they are not the service window will not latch properly. If the spring latches are towards the top, slide the panel out from the bottom, rotate the panel 180 degrees and then slide the panel back in.
Bolt the steel metal shelf inside the window opening. Secure with three ¼” x ¾” flat head screws and tighten with three ¼” hex nuts.
When the service window is down, these padlock holes located on each side of the window are used to keep the service window from being raised. The padlocks are not included.
Also, the tabs on the slide channel along with spring latches hold the service window open when in use.
This concludes the FordLogan woven wire mesh installation video on Service Window Assembly.
