When Dr Phillips died and his funeral, this is the sermon his wife played at his funeral for the sermon of his life.

One of my favorites. You can see how he is moved by the Holy Spirit as he explains God's creation.

If you understand that NO ONE has clean hands and NO ONE has pure heart only then you will understand the message of this Psalm. It is NOT about engaging in a processus of cleaning yourself for you to be acceptable in God's presence. If you could clean yourself and had a pure heart, then the Atoning work of Christ on the cross would be in vain. Remain blessed knowing that it's ONLY by the blood of Jesus that your sins are washed and you are accepted and restored. If you are strugging today, open the gates of your heart and accept Jesus. He has accomplished it ALL. He says "it is finished!".

Was Dr Phillips a Welshman? I'm sure i detect a Welsh accent in his poetic delivery.

This was a wonderful preacher. Sad that he had to always quote the rank heretic C.S. Lewis.....

Just look at what God did in his life. He made him what was in his heart. A man that loved and to be used by God in his Kingdom. "SELAH"
