You made me smile 🙂doing the walk of shame with wet feet, now you have he same issue that I have with the Mob8 -- on the Mob8 that copper antenna for the ELRS is not that great, I have to fly with the ELRS packet rate set to 150Hz to get range "near" to the Walksnail range. I have been thinking of replacing the copper antenna, but it does not look like an easy mod.
hhahaah glad I was of use! Hear me complaining all the way! ROFL Yeah... one of the reasons why I swapped to this omni instead...but its still not as good as I want it too...maybe I'll switch it back to the dipole and see if theres a difference. 150hz? wow..lots of RF interference where ur at? Thanks for dropping by bruddah
I think I might know why you lost RX and video, you are still using an FRSky lanyard. Glad to see that antenna blob fix worked and your VTX Isn't fried. Wish the fields here was as dry as yours are, almost need scuba gear for some of the spots I'd fly this time of year heh. Nice little freestyle rip at the end! Thanks for the video, cheers!
HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAH WTH BROOOO!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA Yeah man! Wait as dry as mine? oooooohhh!!! the snow! yeah! hahah thanks so much bruddah!!!!
@@shogunemperor Oh no, this is west coast, loads of rain, ocean right there, so it doesn't take much for it to pool up. Tinywhoops and so many doors ftw! lol Invest in gumboots, your feet will love you! ;-)
Glad you recovered the fallen quad bro! Range is 300% better now after you have the vtx antenna fixed. It is almost on par with HDzero V1.. so that is not too bad. A lot of viewers din know that the high humidity in Singapore will cut the range by 15 to 20%, if they bring their quad here to do max range test, they are in for a shock. LOL
Great video bro, but that mounted ufl connector is not good, lucky you in Asia and can send it back for repair also coat both your fc and vtx with conformal coating and the drone be able swim and dive under water like mine has.
Thanks so much bruddah!! Hmm.. thats true. But even then, I still try to fix them myself to avoid time wastage and though shipping is much cheaper... its still a little cost. So yeah.. i try to fix em up myself unless its beyond my puny capabilities. I havent really conformal anything yet. I've crashed in ponds and small puddles with these Happymodel whoops and put them in thirsty hippo and its up and flying in a few days. shopee.sg/product/6043702/1810951590?gads_t_sig=VTJGc2RHVmtYMTlxTFVSVVRrdENkZUJ2b3BzZTU5TzUvdlEzSUp0dWxrSXk5ZnlEbWhEdWZoVFFWanNzOGZpNTVsTjBLaG95ME13OFByL2piQnlvS1VtTzZkZFBNb2FVOXJXdExGQUdacCtCbXhBd2xZekJuNTcrSis2OFlVVU8&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAxqC6BhBcEiwAlXp450nMMdJCzvDOcXZsrm6NJLS9wkS65CTIHM1-WWj8UBXcZNqbu2GXOBoCKuIQAvD_BwE
@@Carticiak West coast Canada, Happymodel replaced a fried Crux3 FC. Cheapest shipping with no tracking or prayers about 20$, only took 4 months (All the summer and fall ones). Otherwise yeah, with tracking, I'll just get a new FC, it's litterally cheaper and a HUGE time saver. Not HM's fault just stupid economics.
Weirdly enough, there are some conflicting interferences with the radio waves in my experience. Yeah! That would be the simplest solution to it. Great job man!

Yeah, in canada I have a dead 1s vtx and I just have to buy another one, shipping for repair costs like 4 times that of the vtx
@ totally understand man. It costs a bomb to ship stuff to and from the US

I just added an external ELRS receiver. With the internal SPI I got so many random rx loss, which is so annoying.
