The first half was absolutely fantastic 👏 👌 We were totally in control! We should have been 6 up! Hwang had a poor game! He missed 2 sitters, and then gave a free kick away! Bristol City scored! Wolves had several chances to score but it was a bit nervous towards the end! We are through, and that's the main thing! COYW, Always Wolves 🐺
Good to get a win and solid debut for Agbadou. Should have really been out of sight in the second half and serious questions over Hwang unfortunately. Onto Newcastle next week.
First half looked like we were going to win comfortably, couple of fair goals and then they got one back bang on h/t. Second half we controlled the game but they had a bit of a go, pity one of the shots that hit the woodwork did'nt go in as it would have looked a better win. Hwang missed a sitter, should do better. Agbadou did OK. Anyway we're still in the hat for the next round.
Rodrigo Gomes reminds me of a young Neto with his pace the way he runs, and how he holds the ball up, I think we have got an up and coming talent who I'm sure will be watched by many Premier Clubs in the near future. He will become a fan's favourite if he isn't already. João Gomes and Andre are also forming a good understanding in the centre, and look strong. We have the early makings of a really good team, just need to stay in the premier then exciting times ahead for wolves fans I'm sure once the defence is sorted.
Johnson would have had a chance if he's been in the middle of the goal and I think Sa would have saved that to be honest. Hwang was truly dreadful, gave away a stupid free kick and missed two sitters, a lot of backwards passing and little press in the second, poor. Agbedou looked fine to me and he'll be a great player for us. Sarabia and Bellend really? Good grief! Good first half but very poor second. It's a win though.

Yup, solid showing in the first half, Gomes doing BITS, excited to see that kid progress (particularly if and when we lose RAN). Agbadou looks like a solid signing; Solid, steady, unflappable, nice passing…. It’ll be interesting to see how he fares in the PL. Guedes had a good game, Joao Gomes had a good game, Chan had a shocker. Second half was very disappointing, I was finding myself very easily distracted…. They got lazy, sloppy and halfarsed and could have had no complaints if BC had equalised TBH. Job done though…. I don’t want to see us becoming a 45min team again though, we did the same v Forest.
It's really weird to be commenting on a game that I neither attended, nor could watch on a Romanian TV stream! I listened only to the live Wolves TV audio stream. Considering I claimed not to be at all bothered about the FA Cup, I am feeling surprisingly chipper at having won the game and now can't wait for the draw for Round Four. A home local derby against Tamworth, maybe? I was hugely surprised at the strong starting line-up Vitor Pereira selected. That was a nice debut for Agbadou to settle in with, rather than him first appearing at Newcastle. We need another defender a midfielder and a striker..and our confidence is still brittle and will take some TLC and time..
