Your video's really good. You don't pause, nor gloss over any features. I never had a CB radio. But I'm gonna. Shoot, the company ought to pay you. Thanks for the info SS.

Good video! I've been looking to get one of these to supplement my VHF/UHF ham rig because I like to listen to road reports from the truckers. Then I can relay what I hear to local hams through the repeaters or relay my WX observations to truckers via CB. I've been using an older mobile rig but would prefer something a little more up to date and compact. I've looked that this one and the Cobra C 75 WX ST. Tough choice because both get very good reviews.
The battery operation is not all that important to me because I'm going to use these strictly mobile but, I can see a rare occasion where I might use it in the portable mode. Another possibility is the Cobra HH RT 50 but it takes up more room.

I would highly recommend this radio even if you were going to use strictly for mobile applications. However, in rare circumstances where you might want to switch to a handheld, the transition is very fast and convenient.

When I plug in my charger pack the red light turns on. I left it on all night and the light was still red, does it have a different color for full charge indication?

It's about a mile. Sometimes I can go farther. In the city it is terrible. Unless I hook it up to my mobile antenna. Then I can start hitting 3 to 5 mi clearly.
