  • This rig Is FOR SALE!! Please Email geeks4x4@Ingmail.com if interested. In this walkaround we check out the grand cherokee ZJ 5.2 and I show you all the insane mods and how I kept the rig looking very stock Long arm suspension and frame stiffening are just the beginning. This ZJ has some of the best parts from Kevin's off road, Iron Rock off road, Rough country and Bilstein. It was built to tackle overlanding routes and tough trails. Even though it doesn't have lockers with all the suspension flex it does a great job of keeping those general grabbers heading in the right direction.

Your Jeep is so clean looking. It makes me wish I would have kept my stock bumpers on mine.

Its kind of my goal in all my builds, to make them look pretty stock. The bumpers have their draw backs for sure tho.

Hi there, I just came across your channel. Fist of all nice ZJ and I’m really happy that you were able to finish what your father had envisioned. I purchased a ZJ earlier this year and It’s had a constant electrical draw which we can’t figure out. My battery is always dead and after watching your video, I’m thinking it might be the computer controlled voltage regulator that you mentioned. Could you send me the link that you mentioned. Thanks.

    • @Geeks4x4

Hey there, Yes here's the link www.backyardmechanic.org/how-to-build-a-external-voltage-regulator-for-dodge-jeep-chrysler/
Not sure that this is your issue but it sure could be. One way to test would be to disconnect your alternator after charging your battery and let it sit over night.

@@Jeeper-zq5lu Battery drain could be from anything but in my case it was something not expected. My rear glass hatch sensor wore out. So going down the road at night my interior lights kept flashing. I disconnected the sensor on the hatch to kill the lights. After a day or two my battery would die. Issue was the computer that monitors functions in the jeep detected an open window and the computer would never shut down. I had no warning lights saying that something was open or wrong. I replaced the senser and plugged it back in and all is good. You may have a bad sensor somewhere. Just sharing incase it helps with your search.

Doesn't really stick out past the dash. But yes its hard, if your wearing your seat belt you shouldn't be going that far forward anyway. Plus there is still air bags. To each his own, I'll take the extra strength and added usability.
