The girl I bought it from used it for school for a year so it has at least 2 years of daily use on it now and I can say it's held up great. i5 11th gen, 1080p IPS screen that looks great, 16gb DDR4 ram, and a 512 ssd and a nice quality feel total with the aluminum top shell. Incredible if you can find one used for under $200.
great video and good find! would recommend a capture card to render and encode via an external computer so you can screen record without affecting performance. personally i love how you explain things, but maybe you can up the pace for the youtube algorithm (maybe by writing a more concise script). was surprised by the size of your channel when i checked! keep it up
I don’t use a script- kinda just wing it when it comes to talking points. And yes- the RUclips algorithms are not doing me any favors :( I am actively looking into capture cards

Hmm, not quite the same. The Gateway has double the RAM and SSD capacity- but same CPU.

A more recent version of this model has a touch screen, a 12th Gen intel i5 but somehow, they downgraded the Ram I. That model to 8 gb
