    Great information JP. You never know how things will work out until you give it a try. I hope you could return the seat. Good luck.

    It's amazing what 3/4" will do. 😀 I love my Triumph Tiger, but that Honda is a great looking bike. It looks fantastic in the white, red and blue they offer in Europe.

      Thanks Bob-yeah, it is a cool bike, but there are so many cool bikes. I can only ride one at a time. 😎 I like the Euro version, but black and red works too.

    WOW! I wish the wing seat was that easy to remove and install.

      Isn't that the truth! Thanks old buddy! That low seat is going back!

    I got the low seat and it feels wider and more comfortable to me but not much lower. My stock seat is very narrow.

    • @JP1970
      @JP1970  4 месяца назад

      That may be, but dang it moved me forward about an inch. I sent it back. I think the stock seat is better, for me anyway. Glad you like it!

    Yeah I hear you I don't think I would like being pushed forward and inch. Do I smell a Corbin in your future? 🤣

    That little bit makes a difference. Much better to be on the ball of your feet.

      You are right, but it pushed me too far forward. Had to send it back. Thanks buddy!

    Daytona gtx boots will help.

      They might, but dang $450 is a bit more than I want to spend on new boots. I will stick with my Forma’s! 😎😎 I appreciate the suggestion, though.

      @JP1970  2 месяца назад

      I am like 5'8" ish and it was a bit of a stretch. The guy I sold it too was 6' and he could flat foot it, which is better. I guess you can lower it, or buy something else. Thanks buddy!

    • @garyoneill8868
      @garyoneill8868 17 дней назад +1

      I'm 5'7", short legs, 67yo and can touch balls of feet both sides at once; that height is a bit too tall for me. I would probably be ok with a low seat but would definitely be ok with a lowering link. It works wonders on my Versys 300. Ie lowering link.

    • @JP1970
      @JP1970  17 дней назад +1

      @@garyoneill8868 yeah, I could have made that bike work, but honestly I already have a Honda Gold Wing and a Ducati scrambler, so I sold the Transalp. Great bike, but I think two bikes is enough. Thanks for sharing your experience! 👍

      @@garyoneill8868 What do you mean by lowering link?

    • @garyoneill8868
      @garyoneill8868 17 дней назад

      @@ecirlos4601many manufacturers and aftermarket companies make a lowering link (depending on bike/shock/swingarm design) which is longer than standard. It lowers the rear end by a set amount. Plenty on RUclips about them. They work for me.
