Hi. 👋. Great video. Thanks very much. Any chance you could answer this question please. I have not used the “Return to home”. Because I noticed that it says the drone will go up first. Then fly home. If there is a tree 🌳 or obstacle above the drone when I press the button. Will the obstacle avoidance kick in. Sorry if it’s a dumb question. Still learning and not trying to make an expensive mistake. Kinda Regards Tony
Umm .. did you read your drone's user manual? This question is very model specific. There are TONS & TONS & TONS of instructional videos on just about any drone that exists, so try searching for a beginner lesson video on your particular one.
Glad you enjoyed the video! Most drones should be able to check for obstacles and avoid them while it's returning home. Also, the drone usually ascends to a certain altitude automatically before traveling toward its home point to avoid this scenario. In DJI drones, there might be an "obstacle check" option you can also check. Hopefully this helps!
Hi, I am currently looking for budget laptop to process Orthophotos, do you think laptop with (Ryzen 5, RTX 2050, 16G Ram) is sufficient enough to process 1000~ photos? I am using WebODM on my MacBook Pro, and it is taking way too long 🥲
What if u wanted to map a stretch of river for sandbars. Then use the data on ur phone to dodge sandbars while boating. Best platform for that?
