Honestly, I miss their early pop sound! Not that their new mature sound isn't great, it's just this is the song that I first heard from them and it's the one I fell in love with. But it's been quite a while since then and of course, they've grown and matured, so their music sound reflects that, but goodness, do I miss it.
I agree - it had something to do with them being dropped by their record label RCA. It says on their Wikipedia page: on 25 May 2017, fans of the band noticed Before You Exit was no longer listed among RCA's recording artists on RCA's website. Then on 26 May, all the videos on their VEVO channel were deleted and re-uploaded on the same day.
