- Remember what a horrific unorganized mess Fyre Festival, the supposedly exclusive and luxurious dumpster fire catering to rich influencers, was in 2017?
Well, organizer Billy McFarland has just been released from jail, and immediately announced the cringe-inducingly named ‘Fyre Festival 2’, with the first hundred tickets selling out at 500 US dollars a pop, and others to be released in phases with outrageously increased prices.

Bruh the majority of attendees paid around $1200 if they honestly believed that would cover luxury villas, gourmet foods, booze, etc then I got a Nigerian prince to introduce to them.

Anyone who buys a ticket to Fyre festival 2 ticket deserves to lose all of their money and hopefully they don’t reproduce. They also need to be barred from suing since they should know better considering this already happened once.

I'm always amazed at just how gullible some people are. Then again, to the people buying this, the costs are barely a blip on the pocket change they lose in the couch on a Saturday. So it might be less "gullible" and more "meh, 2% chance it won't suck, let's do it".

I'm not the least surprised that the tickets for Fyre Fest II are selling well. There's a sucker born every minute, which means a pool of nearly three million potential attendees have arisen since the first Fyre debacle.

I'm guessing they are planning on releasing undervalued tickets hoping to get the hype going, then have the late comers pay for it. I think what will happen instead is people will not agree to buy a ticket above a reasonably low price, thus Billy will have to once again make a festival on an non-existent budget. Will be funny to watch it happen a second time.

There has been a meme going on around my school, they keep asking “have you prayed today” and every time it’s in the same exact way. Done a lesson on it yet?
Correction: $12,000 wasn't the common price for tickets. It ranged from 500-1,200 for the majority of customers. So it was less rich kids and more people seeing a really good deal for a couple week getaway.
First time I felt really bad for people. But if you buy tickets to #2 with all they knowledge, you are asking to lose your money.
When that happens, I hope McFarland gets a real sentence this time.

To make a quick side note: Tickets were not selling for twelve thousand dollars, they were selling for twelve hundred. It wasn’t rich people that were scammed by Fyre Festival, it was average people who thought they were getting an amazing deal on a luxury vacation.
