I do the gingerbread theme, mostly neutral and pastel colors, in my kitchen and dining room- so fun! My daughter who is getting near 5, loves a nutcracker land of sweets theme in her room, and we found lots of fun things for that from hobby lobby this year! She loved choosing those new decorations. ❤ I do a very traditional, antique/vintage theme in our living room, with deep burgundies. Our family room is the pastel vintage style, with the cute little reindeer, etc.
Thank you so so much for your videos! I love them all, and I know it takes a long time to shop everywhere, edit, voice over, and post. I live in a rural area and have to drive a long way to reach stores, so this helps me capitalize on those trips and know what I'm going in for and make a game plan so I can get it all done. I think this year, I'm going to make a video of everything I have displayed and what I leave in bins so I can refer to it next year. Christmas stuff comes out in June/July and I've already forgotten what I bought at 75-90% off that I haven't used yet. I also think making a list at the end of this year for staple pieces I want next year is a great idea...like a vision board for Holiday decor.
Hello! I love your videos! I am actually not sure what to do this season, as far as decor. My home is very simple but leans toward traditional/contemporary. I love the colors black and white and my decor the last three years has been rustic modern. Minimal black and white ornaments. My daughters love the pastel color palette so I did trees in their room with pink, blue, and sage green. I took a tree to my classroom and did a gingerbread man theme. The students LOVED it. Now I am thinking about leaning toward gingerbread man at home. I don’t want to spend a whole lot changing all of my decor so I feel as though I am stuck! I will keep watching for your helpful suggestions!😅😅😅
My style is very old world so I lean more into greenery, ribbons and natural elements like dried oranges, etc. I love traditional colors but go the moody dark route (burgundy/moss greens). I found that over the years I would buy only to donate the little things I’d purchase year after year. It took me awhile to figure that out but I save a lot of money just admiring things
I do a Christmas tree farm theme. So my colors are blue, greens and white. Most of my colors come from the blue and green trees and deer from the Target dollar spot last year.
I love where towards the end you actually said “ 7 feet” or “foot” when talking about the Christmas trees😉 the whole time you kept saying “inch” … “ 4inc” , “5 inch” we know what you meant though😊 great video👍🏽❤️
Were those white flowers in the beginning of the video poinsettias?! Because they were gorgeous and it's a must that I get my hands on them. I'm stumped as to how I'm going to decorate this year, I really want to switch it up
I won’t need any new florals this year. Though I always lean towards poinsettias, which are a big part of SWestern cultural Christmas celebrations. I am doing a mix of plaids this year, including blues and greens and whites. A cozy vintage and casual vibe.
