If you want, try out a cheap prop firm like Apex. That way you won't have to lose your own money. Focus on risk management and risk a small percent of your account on every trade.

I deleted everything all the groups and took 2 months away came back with a fresh focus. I found an edge in my system rest is history. I don’t watch anything to do with trading apart from your channel because you seem a nice honest lad who is trying to make yours and your families life a little bit financially better to which I just give a bit of advice it may help may not but I would never tell you to change your system.Once you become at peace with losses the journey take a different path. You’ll find that liquidity tends to temporarily dry up around market news. Doesn’t matter if it’s oil, ES, NQ, etc. If you want to continue trading low volume futures like MCL, I’d stay away from shorter durations like 2m and 5m. Look for support/resistance levels on higher timeframes (15m, 1hr, 4hr) and trade the trend only using the shorter timeframes (2m, 5m) for entry/exit. Less is more when it comes to the number of trades.

Hey Jonah, yeah so journaling includes: 1. Going over your trades, why you took them, and what you could have done better or cutting yourself some slack if it was a good trade off of a good setup that just didn’t work out.
      2. Going over your overall performance for the day and seeing if it is consistent with the way you want to be trading, making sure your rules are being followed, and if not, having a plan for how to prevent the breaking of rules.
      3. Working on the trade plan, this is includes: which setup are you going to take at which levels/zones and ONLY engaging with those predefined areas and not straying away from that plan. You can have multiple plans by the way, for example, if this level breaks upward getting in long and targeting ‘x,’ if this level breaks to the downside getting in short and targeting ‘x.’ Have a plan for each and every scenario.
      4. Going back over your entries each week, month etc. to assess your progress.
      Hope that helps!
