You have the best nails I've ever seen on any RUclips video. I had my videos on auto play as I was cooking. When I walked back to my phone I gasped! I said omg her nails. They look fabulous.
LOL! Most of the time I have a good manicure, my manicurist is great! But there are times, especially during lock down, last year, I did them myself...not so great! But thank you, you gave me a good laugh ❤️
You are the best instructor. You explain and show us exactly what and how to do the steps. Your use of the camera is superb. It gets us close when we need to see up close and expanded when that view benefits your audience. Thank you for helping us.
Hi Gina I watch all your videos. I just love them, you explain everything so well and your filming, especially the close ups is just so helpful. What a lovely alternative you have shown us with these wire wrapped capuchons and finished necklaces. Sometimes I just feel like doing something different as I am sure many of us do and these ideas are just a perfect solution. It’s not easy to find good stringing ideas. Thank you so much, what you do is very much appreciated. Very best wishes to you and your family from Aussie Jenny 🥰🥰🥰
Hello, yes, I often feel like doing something other than bead weaving. I did it exclusively for many years. I then went back to where I started and began stringing and wire work. It’s a nice break. I now do both. The pieces that sell the best are usually my strung pieces.
Thank you Gina for taking the time to reply. I am no great beader like yourself, but I do sell a few pieces and I find that all the time that goes into the weaving is not always appreciated by the public. However, by stringing or wireworking a piece like you have just demonstrated gives us gratification easier and often attracts more buyers. May your hands and mind keep creating for as long as your desire. Cheers lovely lady from Aussie Jen ..ps I loved a video you did some time ago with your sons. Your laughter was so contagious. I have 2 sons well in their 40’s now and I could just see them doing those funny things. X
Jenny Russo you are correct, the woven pieces do not get enough appreciation from buyers and often are not desired because they are too fancy for everyday wear. These pieces always sell. Though there is greater artist expression with bead weaving, pieces like these definitely are worth creating too. Yes, my sons are a riot. We are all in different states now. I miss them.
Gina, Beautiful Necklaces!!! My fave is the turquoise and black beaded neclace. Thank you for sharing this tutorial and your creativity with us.All the best you in 2020!!!!
A couple tips I have discovered, one is for cutting chain, and one is for attaching the chain to the wire part. Stick a pin into the link at the six inch spot, then stick the pin into your bead Matt. Now you can tug and smooth the chains down next to each other till they are the same length. Snip the longer to match the six inch piece. An easy way to be sure they are the same is to stick another pin into the end link of the six inch piece. Then stick another pin into the link on the longer piece which is right next to that link, ( on the six inch piece). Cut the link just below that link. Attach the chain to the loop before you close it. Right at the step before you begin your wraps. You will still be able to hold the loop as you wrap. Just let the chain hang down below. This works well for small link chain, and soldered chain.
Leslie Nakagawa thank you, it nice to get helpful tips. I often measure my chain by holding the end links on a head-pin then cutting them flush. It’s easier than counting links for sure. Glad you liked the video.😁
I will have to try these beautiful necklaces! Love the way you teach! I have learned a LOT from you! Thank you so much for sharing! Please keep doing your videos!
These are very pretty, love the look of gemstones with leather 😍 I still haven’t tried wire wrapping like this but your technique is so nicely done, I’ll have to give it a go, Thanks
Erin Wood it takes a little practice but after a few tries, you will get the feel of the wire. Don’t give up, just make sure you have enough wire to mess up a few times.
😁Thank you! My nails can bring out very nice comments like yours or very mean ones. I always appreciate the nice ones, I love having my nails done, and no matter how many comments I get about how distracting or horrible they are ( which I delete 😅) I will continue getting them done. Thanks for the compliment 💜💙💜💕💜
Thank you for sharing all you do ! I love all your video’s ❤️💋 I also want to see your lovely nails ! I’ve taken your video’s into a nail Shop and ask can you do this ! Mostly they say yes they will try since it’s not a nail video! lol 😂
LOL, how do they come out? I have a great manicurist, he picks out the color and design. I just go in and he already knows what he wants to do. So, I just let him do it.😁
These are so pretty! I love them! I was wondering, could you take your pliers and twist the braid in the back to make it tighter, rather than gluing it, or is it better to use glue? Thank you for sharing! 💜

What size are the cabachons? Thank you
I don’t remember, but I probably said what size in the beginning of the video. I usually do.😊
To remind me of Pocahontas necklace in Pocahontas Movie♡♡♡
LOL, I don’t remember that necklace, been year since I have seen it. My kids watched it, but they are all grown up now😁
Very lovely. Is “Argenti” Argentium?
You know, I am not sure, but probably, I was just reading the package🤪
These are so pretty! I love them! I was wondering, could you take your pliers and twist the braid in the back to make it tighter, rather than gluing it, or is it better to use glue? Thank you for sharing! 💜
It is tight, it's the design that is not secure. You dont have to use glue, it is an extra measure to ensure the stone stays in place
Just out of curiosity are the cabochon made of plastic our glass? And or is there any genuine stones? Or crystals
They are stones
The bottom 5 links don't work
This is an older video, maybe the site changed links
🙏 🙏 🙏 👍👍👍👍👍
