Great video Rob. I love the rookie cards you picked up. My favorite the McCovey which is on my short list to acquire. Great story on the Rice heroic feat. I had never heard of this. A new found respect from this Sox fan. Thanks for sharing.
Another fantastic group of rookie cards. I am a fan of the design of the 60 McCovey with the green background and the trophy. The Murray and Ozzie were two big cards from my childhood. Thanks for sharing, Rob!
Hi Terry! Thank you so much for watching, my friend. I agree about the McCovey rookie. It’s a great design and I just love that trophy! Have a great day, buddy!
That is a fabulous 4 McCovey! Centering seems near perfect, and the color is great! I love the Rice rookie, in particular that you can see Fenway in the background but without the scoreboard in center field which was built in 1976. Helps date the photo. ~Allon
Thanks, I was unaware of those details, Allon! Yeah, I’m so glad I found the McCovey that did. I think it looks fantastic and I got a great deal on it. Thanks for watching, my friend!
Awesome cards Mr Cash Cards and a great video too. Love the Alan Trammell and and Paul Molitor. Cool other cards Mr Cash Cards and have a good one and until your next video ✌️ Mr Cash Cards.
Hi Robert! Man, the Molitor/Trammell rookie is one of my favorite cards ever. It’s so cool to have 2 hall of fame rookies on one card! Thanks for watching, my friend!
Awesome cards brother! Love the McCovey, the big old rookie cup with the green background gets me every time! Jim Rice! Nice! That was an amazing thing he did getting that kid out of the stands! Thanks for the shoutout too! 😁 The 78 Topps Murray is a great card, one of my favorite cards of the 70s The Ozzie RC is a tough one to find centered. Cool that you still have your childhood copy! I have mine too and it’s all beat up! 😂 You’ve got an awesome rookie card collection Rob!
Hi Jim! Thanks for watching, buddy! Jim Rice is a hero. It was so cool what he did that game…amazing! Yeah, I love the McCovey and Murray cards. Two great looking examples in my opinion. It’s cool that you still have your childhood Ozzie. I traded an Eric Davis rookie for mine 😂. Take care, my friend!
@@PopKingKeith Thanks for the sub! I subbed you back, man. I believe you are right about Parker’s contract. Also, he won the first ever All-Star home run derby. Thanks for watching and take care!!!
Great copies Rob, that Eddie Murray is a blazer! The McCovey is just one of the coolest Topps RCs ever. I love telling that Jim Rice story every time somebody brings him up. He also carried Jerry Remy off the field twice after terrible knee injuries. What a guy! Great progress, I'm looking forward to you finishing the RC run, my man!
Great video Rob and fantastic cards. Enjoyed the stories as well. I did not know that about Jim Rice and the young fan. Congrats on the great additions and thanks for sharing.
Another great showcase man! My favorite of that group has to be that beautiful Eddie Murray. Such a sharp looking card! Enjoyed reminiscing about each of these great players’ careers. Great stuff as always!
You just had to bring up the 91 World Series. Whitaker should definitely be in the Hall. I'm assuming it is a matter of when, not if. Great collection, that Murray is still a stunner
Hey Rob! Another great group of RCs. I feel your anguish on whether or not to grade some of your copies. I have several RCs from the 70s that I think I’m better off buying a different copy. Most of mine are flawed more than I like. Thanks for sharing.
Joe! Yes, it’s tough trying to decide to grade your card or to just buy an already graded copy. I think it’s better to try and find an example that best meets your eye appeal. Thanks for watching, buddy!
Wow man!!! Sutter, Eck nice!! Dawson there he is- the best card so far😁 Great cards Dude!!! Eddie Murray is sick!!! Love the series you have going on here!!! Merry Christmas Rob!!! I need to get a Parker!!
Some more fantastic pick-ups Rob! Love that Eddie Murray, wow is that a sharp-looking card. Love the Trammell/Molitor card, huge Molitor fan. He had such a quick bat! He missed almost two full years and still ended up with over 3,300 hits! If we don't chat before hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas!
Hi Steve! Thanks for all of your support, my friend! I’m very thankful to have connected with you on RUclips this year. I pray for you and your family to have a wonderful Christmas!!!
Hi Rob! Excellent McCovey rookie. Dave Parker still lives in the Cincy area, right? His Reds stats are better than most people think. The Eddie Murray is one of my all time favorite Hall of Fame rookie cards. I don’t understand why he’s so undervalued. Your Ozzie is well centered. I understand what you said but still a difficult card to find centered. Great stuff, Rob! Hope all is well.
Hi Andy! Yep, Parker still lives here. He was a beast for the Reds. He put up MVP numbers in 85. I don’t understand why Murray is so undervalued either. The more I look at his numbers, the more I’m impressed by him. Yeah, it will be tough to find a centered Ozzie. But, mine also has corner issues as well. I hope to find one that looks good to me. Thanks for watching, my friend!
Jim Rice! My all time favorite player.
Man, he was a heck of a player. Thanks for watching!
Love the cards and the commentary. Didn't know that about Jim Rice. How incredible
Jeremiah! The Rice story was incredible. He’s a hero!
Great cards Rob. Enjoy the stories also.
Thanks, Orlando! I try to include some interesting facts. Take care!
John Scott is on both the Rice and Dawson rookies.
Wow! I never noticed that 😂

Custom slab your Dawson and Smith rookies. They'll look great with your personal touch!

Super like #13 Rob 👍 Supporter #509 🎉 I believe Parker was the first MLB player to earn a $1M contract! ⚾️💰 Very nice McCovey graded card! 💥 9:19
@@PopKingKeith Thanks for the sub! I subbed you back, man. I believe you are right about Parker’s contract. Also, he won the first ever All-Star home run derby. Thanks for watching and take care!!!

Wow! That Rice RC is sharp looking! Great stuff!
I agree! It’s one of my favorites. Thanks for watching!
Another great batch of rookies. The McCovey still looks great. I just bought a Murray rookie on E-bay yesterday.
Nice! Can’t wait to see your Murray rookie!!!
Gave a video like. That McCovey is sweet! Enjoyed seeing all those, thanks for sharing

Sorry! If it weren’t for some base running mistakes, the Braves probably would’ve won the series. Later!

That McCovey SGC 4 is better centered than alot of PSA 10 cards i see on eBay. Lol
Ha! The centering and registration is what sold me on the McCovey. It’s not easy finding a centered example of this card. Thanks for watching!
Wow man!!! Sutter, Eck nice!! Dawson there he is- the best card so far😁
Great cards Dude!!! Eddie Murray is sick!!! Love the series you have going on here!!!
Merry Christmas Rob!!!
I need to get a Parker!!
Ha! I knew you’d say something about the Dawson 😂. It is a great card! Thanks for watching and have a Merry Christmas, my friend!
Man another awesome rookie showcase. That mccovey is one I’ve always wanted to grab. Always love the Jim Rice story. Fantastic stuff brother 👊🏻⚾️
David! Thanks, buddy! You can get the McCovey pretty cheap. He’s definitely under appreciated in the hobby. Have a great weekend, buddy!
Being from Boston i was watching that game and remember what Rice did for that boy
Man, he’s a hero in my eyes. Thanks for watching!
