I NEED a summerbreak from my natural hair 😤 || Yarn Braids Protective Style Tutorial

OMG! This summer humidity already got me begging for cooler seasons so in order to truly embrace the joys of the season I decided to install these yarn braids. My original plan was to just do regular braids, BUT of course my local beauty supply store didn’t have any green hair! 🙄 Ever since the art h*e movement popularized yarn braids in the 2010s, I’ve wanted to try this style and today’s the day I actually do it. This is such a lightweight, sensory friendly, and AFFORDABLE protective style for any season. You can definitely get super creative with different color combinations and lengths. Hopefully this tutorial is helpful! 💚
🪮 Products/ tools used:
super saver yarn (hunter green)
melanin haircair twist elongated cream
fine tooth comb
hairclips and scrunchies
blowdryer (not completely necessary)
