This man has an incredible talent- he has managed find the oldest, most beautiful traditions and brought them to light - to then uses his voice to bring out the purest, most ancient parts of our souls. Parts that remain untouched, causing grown men to break into tears and women's hearts flutter.
This man needs a million times more recognition then what he has.

Kind of felt that same way, so being American I did the next best thing and moved to Alaska. That's about the closest you're going to get a Norwegian landscape in America. I wonder around the wilderness and carve the Gods into unalive trees, runes and sorts. Plant new trees, and just become one with nature.

Wardruna is such a primal and deeply human force. But seeing Einar in this modern classical setting only deepens his power. 30 or 40 musicians supported him, and everyone was playing their charge! But he still managed to rise on top and command the attention of the room…

It will be a long story, but i hope Wardruna will read it, because i am so grateful for their music. I always searched the reason of my life, of my exist and my place in this world. But i never found it.
I always had interest about nordic cultures, about the scandinavain culture. But the true eye opening moment was, when i heard Wardruna at first time. Since that moment - which was around in 2018 - there is no day without Wardruna. Even if i'm not listening the songs at the moment, i hear it, and it is touching my soul.. something ancient.
Now, thanks for this amazing and magical music, now i know my place in this world. And i know my soul is belong to something old, to something which is almost got forgotten.
I found the Love of my life thanks to Wardruna and Heilung. She is the most perfect women whoever i met.
My biggest dream to see and hear Wardruna in live, i hope once they will visit Hungary, or i can visit a place where they have concert near to me.
Thank you for your amazing work, and thank you for changing my life!

Heed my words, all classes of men
You greater and lesser children of Heimdall
You summoned me, Odin, to tell what I recall
Of the oldest deeds of gods and men
The sun turns black, the earth sinks into the sea
The bright stars fall out of the sky
Flames scorch the leaves of Yggdrasil
A great bonfire reaches to the highest clouds
Brothers will fight one another and kill one another
Cousins will break peace with one another
The old tree sighs when the giant shakes it
Yggdrasil still stands but it trembles
Fenrir howls terribly before the doors to Hel
The wolf will break its bonds and run
Waterfalls flow, and eagles fly overhead
Hunting for fish among the mountain peaks
I see a hall standing there more beautiful than sunlight.
    Thatched with gold at Gimlé
    There bold men will dwell
And enjoy cheer throughout their lives

    This was Great!
I'll be honest, at first the Orchestra I wasn't super in to at first. But when the Choir came in as well, that is when I really felt it.

Einar if you decide to perform at SkyPac in Bowling Green Kentucky here in the U.S. i would buy a ticket in a heartbeat and attend every day you performed if i could hear stuff like this all day.
    Just beautiful.

    Fantastic, Einar Selvik never disappoints
Such a shame there was no audience clapping because of the pandemic
