Camping MARMOLADA Italy

In July 2023, we went to Italy in the South Tyrol region with our camper
We visited the Dolomites and stayed at Camping Marmolada in Malga Ciapela. The campsite is located at the foot of the highest peak of the Dolomites - Marmolada. The campsite is very atmospheric, beautifully situated at the foot of the mountains. It is very well maintained and despite the peak season it was not crowded. This campsite can be recommended to all mountain lovers. Near the campsite there is the lower station of the cable car to the top of the mountain and the glacier located there. Interesting trekking trails around the campsite allow you to spend some interesting time and admire the charm of the mountains. We visited a farm on the pass, where we tasted great cheeses produced from the milk of cows grazing in the Alps. We took the cable car to the top of Marmolada and walked on the glacier.
