- Rusty, beaten, down, and hopeless, after be cheated, calls out to the Starlight Express. He appears in-front of Rusty and tells him that he is there within him, and with some self confidence and repairing, Rusty can achieve anything.

who are these two steam locos exactly? the one sitting on the clouds kinda reminds me of Gordon and Edward
@@eliotreader8220 The one in the clouds is the eponymous Starlight Express and the steam engine on the ground is Rusty; the main character in the musical.

Starlight Express has been giving me a really big interest on developing stories featuring real life Steam Locomotives which are preserved!
The one I’m thinking is the Union Pacific Big Boy. In my mind he’s a very strong, big and intimidating engine with a gentle peaceful soul!
I can see a potential story of mine featuring Big Boy take place in both the Starlight Express and Thomas & Friends worlds! It would be called…
Big Boy: An American Star.
This is a bit of dialogue featuring Big Boy, his manager and other preserved American engine’s POV of the Starlight Express and Rusty!
Big Boy: *smiles* “I Wonder When He will Visit us, Starlight has been the dream of every engine in the country! Whether Big or Small, Articulate or Otherwise. We All Look Up to Starlight Express who helps us in our most dire moments of life!”
Many passengers and Big Boy’s fellow engines: *all now in agreement*
Big Boy’s Manager: *smiles at Big Boy* “I’ve never Known any other engine who’s gentle and wise as you, Big Boy. You are much of an inspiration to others as the legendary Starlight is to you and your fellow steamers!”
I wish you used better audio, but this is still really well done. Though I gotta admit that after seeing videos of people in the show dressed as trains, seeing the characters here as actual trains was a bit bizarre at first.

I'm actually thinking of making one one day, though there may be a few changes compared to this animation with the most notable ones being Poppa revealing himself to be the Starlight Express and him lifting Rusty into the sky after the bridge.

I'm currently writing a Starlight Express fanfic called Pearlocchio, which is basically the Starlight Express characters acting out Pinocchio. I plan on reading it live on RUclips when I finish it.

By the way, here is a summary I came up with, along with the story's title:
Pearlocchio: A Starlight Express Fanfic
Rusty is a little steam engine who is alone in the world. That is, until he rescues
and is befriended by an elderly steam engine named Poppa. What Rusty doesn’t
know is that his new friend has a big secret; he is really the mythical Starlight
Express, a magical steam engine who grants train wishes to anyone anywhere.
Between a wooden observation car named Pearlocchio, who longs to be a real
car, magic, and a whole series of misadventures, Rusty has no idea what
lies in store for him…
Basically, Pearl is Pinocchio, Rusty is Jiminy Cricket, Poppa/Starlight Express is the Blue Fairy, the Controller Boy is Geppetto, Greaseball is Honest John, and Electra will be either Stromboli or the Coachman. What do you think?

This must've been taken from a low quality video recording of an early show because the audio sucks. If you do more, please if you can find more high quality audio clips.

The knapp wakes up as a normal person named Cameron while red & Deuy duck discover the truth of what they have really been doing under their noses while Thomas and the big engines discover what truth was being told if his jeer to friendlandia on the former’s ex bestie Percy
Battered, bruised & stuck down hearted, they each cry out for starlight express, but one misspoken syllable reveals a big apple city surprise
Strawberry shortcake & the extraordinary berries in skate outfits come out into the new yoke city state of friendlandia followed by care bears for spin off scale & all fear the worst
But on each troubled sight, they smile softly where the berry & bear besties explain that confidence inside them can bring them all back together in just the right match
