Basically two things to remember
1. Dont label him as a christian rapper
2. Dont compare him to Eminem. They both have different styles and lanes and objectives.

Every time someone tells nf is like Eminem he takes it as an insult (somewhat) since nf thinks they are saying he is the bad version of Eminem
Different styles? NF is "aN eFfing Recovery clone of" Eminem. Damn near every NF song has Eminem-esque angst on it, his verse and rhyme scheme structure is just like Eminem's and he talks about the same kind of stuff as Eminem (hard childhood, mental issues, hating fame, having self-doubt/self-pity, etc.). The only difference is NF isn't as good of a lyricist or as versatile and doesn't cuss, which just sounds strange considering that virtually every song is him angry and intermittently screaming.
Logan Leatherman so Em owns the right to to make songs involving those problems ? I think not. And him not cussing isn’t strange. A majority of rappers cuss in their song so it’s considered a norm I suppose but NF went against it and now he is known for it. Which worked in his favor I think.
As for the whole NF is similar to Em thing, I don’t care. I go to both rappers to listen to music.

I love NF! I relate to his music so much! I am plagued with depression & anxiety. My parents were addicts. My father passed away when I was 4 from a heart attack. My mom committed suicide when I was 5. Growing up I was different and I continue to struggle with my self image. NF reminds me that I'm not alone.

I've been listening to NF since 2015 and its crazy cos I've literally listened to this man go through his worst times in life. He has grown so much!! I'm so happy this was made.

I found NF in 2015 and wasn’t into his music until 2017. I’ve never stopped listening since.

Salah Eddine it’s pretty dumb you asked that question, especially when he described his music down to a T. “Logan Leatherman” is right. the only reason why his fanbase (which mostly consists of 11 yos) claims he’s the best rapper is because he uses heartfelt lyrics.
but, in all reality his lyricism and wordplay is very mediocre and basic, and he’s been rapping about the same topic since his first album. this prevents him from becoming known as a versatile and development because talks about one thing. I think NFs a pretty okay rapper, but y’all put him on a pedestal just because hes been talking about depression and self-hatred for half a decade
