That sleeveless shirt style in that blue silk is still one of my favorite uniforms ever. NBA team uniforms never really hit the high design sweet spot like this and not like college unis. I know it's superficial but it still matters to a lifelong fan like me. There aren't many unis in the league right now that I legitimately like. Back to actual basketball, I still miss this era where the best class ever - 96 - carried the NBA. I enjoy KD, LBJ, Steph, Harden, Rose and the list goes on but to me personally they don't hit that same high that the class of 96 did. It's hard to explain what the aforementioned "high" is but it exists for me. Admittedly, I am a much older fan than some of you though so it may just be a generational thing like music. MJ, AI and Kobe fan for life here. I literally grew up watching them and modelling my game after theirs.
+Sincewhen53 Without a doubt one of the greatest draft classes EVER. When you have a draft that consists of Olajuwon, Barkley and the GOAT Jordan, not many classes can compare. There are some other players on there that deserve a mention too. Now, the class of 96 consists of Iverson, Marbury, Ray Allen, Kobe and Nash. Yeah, you can definitely say that 84 might be better because you have 3 of the best players ever, PERIOD. They're definitely the top two draft classes of all-time. Yeah, I might put 84 ahead of 96 but I feel they could be interchangeable depending on your argument. In the third spot would definitely be the class of 03;)
There will never be another player like the Sixers' number 3. Pound for pound the greatest of all time Thanks Penny!
I remember this game...
