- Drifting in the new drift game called OverDrift Festival with my buddy @WazzupTN. Built a new Porsche drift car as well with Ultimate Steering upgrade. Drifting on circuits and some street racing while avoiding traffic. Couple of drag race pulls with our drift cars as well. Lots of funny moments and crashes. OverDrift Festival is still in beta and improving with each update. They also added 2 new cars as well which I will test out soon!

*My answer for the question of the day:* If the "new sim-drifter" has a setup already I would recommend Assetto Corsa, BUT only if they have either a big screen or triple screen or (for me the best) VR. For people with only gamepad or keyboard, CarX. I had like 280 hours on CarX before I got my setup and switched to Assetto (mainly because I wanted to drive and drift on Touge and it was annoying trying to find people to join my CarX modded Akina servers). CarX gave me funny memories, and I've made few online friends there too, but I do not regret the switch to AC.
tl;dr (for those who can't read more than five words)
Assetto if sim setup
CarX if gamepad or kb/m

I will never pay for a drifting game without VR support.
For what they ask for this game people are going to get a game that doesn't look like it belongs on mobile.
Free game with paid cosmetics is the way to go, these devs apparently didn't get the memo.

I feel CarX is the best go-to drift game for newbies of every type. Again this is just my opinion, but I feel that CarX is a must for new sim drifters.
It’s not a sim racing game so bit pointless for sim drifting tbh, it’s not well optimised for wheel and is an arcade game so.. idk I’d say assetto even tho it’s a bit of a cliche opinion

Live For Speed is free but I think it has some blocked content that you can unlock only by paying, like you get few cars etc but if you want more you would need to pay.
Better would be to wait for CarX on sale and get that. If you are on budget (so without Sim setup) it would be enough to have many hours of fun.

the only thing i hate about this game is u really dont get a stock stock car to start with, or buy it and build it up
i think the correct way to obtain cars in any drifting game would be buying a rusty or beaten up, or just fucked up shitbox and develop it yourself
