We just won ISC Storage on Expert with a team, 3 of us had Surveyor, it legit carried the whole game. Shredded early enemies, shredded the tank, shredded the enemies that accidently leaked... It's a must have tower, it does its job more than perfectly, however, Surveyor spam with Recon base spam could result in the whole game bugging out, making the game stop, you are able to move and chat tho. Getting the game bugged out can be really annoying, having to rejoin over and over again...

tips/ general surveyor usage guide: good for eg, if using for eg place 4 0-0 first, since it has base level fd it can defend for a long time (exceptions to this being if you have modifiers like evolution) which can allow you to farm. if you wish to upgrade it i usually get 1-2 or 0-2 surveyors then leave it at there. if using divinity, do NOT get x-4, as the bomber drones will take up space for burst drones (divinity is currently broken and only gives explosion immunity) which will lower dps. before getting multiple 3-x or 4-x surveyors, you must map out where the drones can see and strategize around this planning. do NOT leave this tower alone, it needs a lot of help to be able to do a lot of dps, can barely kill saber champion (was done on roundabout) even with help. do note that radar drones (support drone) do not buff other drones, so if you're doing a challenge restricted to only surveyor or something similar, do not get top path unless you or anybody else is using other dps towers (obviously)

Hey josh, could you make a proper strat for CH4 for the event? We haven't really had a straight forward plan, we just place towers that works. I usually lose for waves 19-24. I really hate losing so many times... Like I legit have tried way too many times and always end up losing :( Edit: I finally won and have surveyor lol
if you're having trouble with nexus, if he leaks through your defenses micro elite's ability as much as you can, you can micro elite too if you wanna chip off some health from the boss before your towers start attacking him, or just use bliss of finality
@@william_.575 ummm you are only focused on the boss how about the enemies there are 4 entrance(actually 5) all towers can’t attack them + there are flying enemies to deal with as well

Off topic but Surveyor will literally make your game lag out. I've had this in 2 separate occasions, both in c3, 1 in wave 23, 1 in wave 21. Skip button would still work and you won't dc but the game just completely breaks. It's advisable to not get too much Surveyors I don't know if it's just because of other units but I'm quite sure that it's because of Surveyor
the drones work differently than pursuit since pursuit stands at one spot and shoots enemies until theres nothing in its range then it moves again while drones from surveyor follow the enemies until they die or get out of the drone range and the drone tower idea is indeed the same and the way drones fly over to enemies too but the tower is completely different, it has many types of drones and doesnt have infinite range, has a damage buff drone that you can move anywhere wich isnt in ptd and drones spawn and despawn like turrets from mechanic
@@tea_kettle2322 The mechanic of the drones is somewhat a mix between tds pursuit and btd6 etienne, the drones don't have infinite range similar to a pursuit, and the moving mechanic is similar to etienne's drone mechanic.
Simulation 01 is either impossible to beat or RNG heavy its just a btd tower (i think its etienne from what i read) I have done it a lot and i just have given up.

It’s a damage cap, meaning that it is the maximum amount of damage an enemy will receive.
