One of my favorite groups that wasn't mentioned in the video are the spicebushes, specifically the Asian ones. Lindera salicifolia puts on an incredible show and holds onto its leaves all Winter - I've put in a whole hedge of them and it wows people every year. Lindera obtusiloba is a beautiful orange-yellow even in full shade, with an interesting leaf shape similar to sassafras. I've heard good things about but haven't tried some of the more obscure species such as Lindera praecox and Lindera reflexa as well. I know the JC Raulston has a nice collection of them.
Enjoyed the tour! Thanks!
So Wowo Video ❤❤😍😍
If you’re looking to have a frigid winter for that class, send that wonderful Southern weather to us in NY! 😉

How shade tolerant is L. salicifolia?
