@@jabman025 I find it the longer you stay in this hobby, the harder it is to keep up. It takes a lot of motivation and dedication to go on and on. You have been doing this for many years but you managed not to fall behind that much. Of course it helps that you focus on MGs unlike other gunpla youtubers that does anything from hg to pg and even 3rd party stuff. Still, having 156 MGs and still staying true to the hobby by not letting a kit sit unbuilt for long deserves my praise.
Very cool you got the MG MSR-00100CR Hyaku Shiki Crash. This is from "Gundam Build Divers GIMM & BALL's World Challenge" (i.e. Gundam Build Divers GBWC). It's an online, light novel.
Yo, Jabman! You've mentioned in the video that you haven't watched the build fighters series yet. I do recommend watching it as it is quite relaxing and fun to watch!
@@damiannguyen9195 Enough to revert it to the regular Kai (the crash's backpack is the Kai's just moved about and with some new bits). even has the head and shoulder armors for it, though no clear part for it.
CommandantAlpha Nice, thanks for the clear up. I really love the regular Kai but not a fan of its mirror gold coating. A local of mine has been having the Crash in stock for just about 85$, but I was dubious on whether it can be converted into the Kai. Gotta get it fast then
Jabman you really should try building the rx-78-2 beyond global when it comes out as the articulation on that kit will probably be better than any modern mg,
Wont deny the look it has a 5 star stories vibe to it. I just ditch the rifle and found a hyaku shiki 2.0 selling for scraps online and bought the rifle to give to this kit.
Pretty sure the crash came from a photo novel so you cant really watch it (same as Stormbringer and that ball spider) but u can read it on the gundam info site
Not a fan of those boosters under the backpack and don't like the color of the feet. I'd have to paint those dark navy blue or something, looks like it's wearing a pair of Nikes. Def like the 2.0 better myself
I have 27 Master Grades and Im running out of space for my boxes. What do you do with your boxes? Do you cut out the Box art and Fold the sides? And If you were to move, how would you store them while moving?
This suit is stylized after the mortar headds from Five Star Stories. The main mechanical artist from that series also designed the Qubeley.
MuShinnen that explains the look of the Qubeley! I didn’t know that. Thanks for sharing this tidbit!
That would be Mamoru Nagano
I think you're pretty fair here. Looks nifty, but weighed down by Earth's gravity.
Keep up the good work man. Always enjoy your reviews!!
Out of all the gunpla modelers I watch regularly, you have the smallest backlog. I respect that.
I think you are giving me too much credit.

I just built my crash last week. I personally love it. After a top coat it tightens up and it balances fine.
Jabman using two hands in a review?! I never thought i’d see the day 🤣
Great stuff as always man
you won I finally bought and have room for a tripod

@xxnike629xx Very cool you got a big *BOX* fort. 📦📦📦

Funny, I used the leftover parts to revert it into the Hyaku Shiki Kai (it has all the parts to do that after all).
Does it have all the parts of the backpack of the regular Hyaku Shiki kai? Or just enough for the mass production type?
I thought it didn't have all the back pack parts to do this

@@zannusx I checked the parts list and it turned out it did. There are no manual scans for the Kai, though, so you'll have to eyeball it.

Awesome review....love Shiki design but uuuuhhh details lost with color palette but with awesome lighting should display well.

karloverg it's literally designed by the same guy lol
I give it a thumbs up personally. I always like variations of mobile suits.
Latex glove trick for the joints will fix those issues
Surprised you didn't mention it has all the parts to make the hyaku shiki Kai. I have 2 of them cuz of this.
It’s called the Hyaku Shiki crash because the long rifle is actually his cane. He crashes a lot.
With that balance, I guess we know why it's called the Hyaku Shiki Crash.
This kit could be so much better with tight joints. They will solve some weight issues and the kit can hold its gun with one single hand.
Pretty sure the crash came from a photo novel so you cant really watch it (same as Stormbringer and that ball spider) but u can read it on the gundam info site
Hi Jabman....i am curious did you ever topcoat the Hyaku Shiki 2.0? Do you recommend a gloss topcoat for it?
I've had bad luck with top coating gold kits I advise not using it, only use a decal sealer to hold the decals on the kit
Hyaku Shiki Looooooong
Simple but looks badass.
That meme on the last bit though 🤣🤣🤣
Kinda looks like they we styling it to look like a mech from Five Star Stories or Heavy Metal L-Gaim
Dan Mason same designer that's why+the designer actually designed the hyaku shiki as well I think
The gold plated version of this kit is coming up... lol
Wasn't this based on a Dir en Grey custom?
Yes! The one built by Naoki and Toshiya, the bassist of Dir en grey.
Not a fan of those boosters under the backpack and don't like the color of the feet. I'd have to paint those dark navy blue or something, looks like it's wearing a pair of Nikes. Def like the 2.0 better myself
I saw some for around $185 is that the retail? I was looking for a PG and I came across this. Looks cool.
that is extremely high, this kit is out of print now so it is harder to find, I paid about 80 dollars (not counting shipping costs)
jabman025, oh wow. Yeah they’re are on amazon for that price and I was looking at EBay too. I really like it lol. But perhaps not right now.
I would like this kit much more if the decals were all dry transfer.
Especially since I only weather I dont repaint.

If done right, that new waste section could look like bones.
This kit is from a side novel
Hazel plus hrududu next
very nice
Are you still friends with Henry "Vegita8259"?
Well, he invited me to his wedding. So I'm guessing yeah.
wedding crash you say?
Are there enough leftover pieces to make any other midsection of the torso that isn’t the new super narrow one?
Solid review, I feel your dissapointment with the kit
I guess delta plus has much more appealing (wave rider mode) than this hyaku shiki CRASH! XD
Sell I man, I’ll buy it from.
This amd the quebley damned both look great, but poor design
