Can someone explain why specific dmg% are not as valuable? I saw in a lot of guide to focus on flat attack over some dmg% like basic or heavy but why? Aren't they better?
i think it depends on character.. like calcharo, most of his big numbers come from heavy and liberation.. if u compare his total damage with buffed basic vs buffed lib, buffed lib always gives better numbers.
OKay but what a bout animation cancels? Heavy attack into Echo cancel, in particular. You do the HBA and then emiadly do Echo and swap. Will it count? Or you need specificaly to w8 the eplosion?
I play a charge attack spammer playstyle with mortefi and baizhi. She buffs mortefi normal attacks and mortefi buffs her charged attacks. They both keep each other permanently buffed. And baizhi adds some buffs in the mix aswell.

Hi, Basic DMG makes up about 30% of Calcharo's damage profile, the biggest chunk comes from his "Death Messenger" which counts as Liberation DMG. So yes, you can support him with Sanhua, though there are better pairs for Sanhua.
Sanhua pairs well with Lingyang, Encore, also Havoc Rover. I haven't looked into Chixia yet but she deals mostly Skill DMG, so in theory Taoqi is a good idea (if you can make her work), otherwise Yangyang always viable

Sanhua is really cool but damm the ice effects are so underwhelming, when you detonate them it should feel satisfying but it's so meh
