Listening to this, takes me way back to Stafford Bingley Hall, The Night at the opera tour. I'd never heard anything like this sound. Absolutely speechless hearing Brian May do this. Those were the days, seeing Queen, Boston & Rush in a matter of weeks. All credit to you mate, for getting these sounds together.
@ intriguing man. I watched a video the other day about how he made the first Boston album demo in his basement studio. ruclips.net/video/6WeHyDB4JN0/видео.htmlsi=dpMmROU_PivRDZnM
@@yblanco you can get away with a lot of it on a humbucker as most of the time Brian is using the bridge and middle in phase like a wide humbucker. These are great tones on lots instruments and of course it’s Rory Gallaghers tone too as that where Brian got the idea. Brian’s treble booster in the classic Queen era is voiced differently but the root tone is the same. I love it. It’s rich in harmonics, clear and very musical. Like a cello or something!
This is where the boss sde 3000d comes into play with two delays. You can set at different different delay times as you just mentioned there's also the Edward Van halen EVH version where you can have wet dry wet
Really great captures. Nicely done. Sounds very convincing. And I see you've git the Super too! A great guitar rig!! (I was on the list for one but by the time it became available I didn't have the extra cash on hand and had to let it go!) Cheers
Technically this one is not a Super though it was made by the guy who went on to make the first Supers so it's kinda like a proto Super maybe? 🤣 Thanks for checking it out. If you're ever in the Brian May guitar market again, there are lots of great craftsman in that space. Check out the Red Special Forum group on Facebook. Some incredible options at reasonable pricing.
Just discovered your channel yesterday. Dig your skill although not a huge Queen fan but damn man you got it down so kudos to you and your talent. Caught your video on TONEX and AUM which is how I use it. Also like the FC Chorus as well as the K7D delay you might check out. Also using GigFast Lite (NAM wrapper) in AUM and that kicks azz as well. Have a good weekend and Best Regards and Best Wishes!
I've done stuff with NAM. It's really great tech. I'm not fully involved in it as ToneX is working really well for me but my pal Satsuki has done great work on Vox captures for it: satsuki-kuvift.stores.jp/items/66f9498e6270d02ed515e36b?fbclid=IwY2xjawGtM71leHRuA2FlbQIxMAABHaYBauEcZVFCe3hsaiFCY39jvhpgtZyuFeyUwteSlc31mKLffjLPaPd0Eg_aem_KWAld0sMWNwIzkQw5JFP6Q
Thomas… this is brilliant. You should add that these presets will work on the big Tonex pedal as well or could be just run in the software alone so even without a pedal these presets would be great with just a PC/Mac.
@@ThomasBrunkard Yeah Tonex One is just amazing.... I have a big Tonex pedal and often think of buying the One just for the sheer wonder of it... shows that not a lot of processing power is needed to process the Tonex tone models...
Have you considered converting the digitech to be rack-mount like Brian’s? Could be for the acoustic sim (which is surprisingly good as memory serves - it’s been a few years since I played around with it)? Or IIRC from one of Pete’s videos he uses it on tour currently in place of some settings switches for Tie Your Mother Down?
Also one other thought, since I don’t know what the mysterious upcoming project you’re raising funds for is, but I love seeing you come out with new stuff Idk if you’ve ever considered lesson videos for lead parts etc, but I’d definitely pay for a video lesson series and I bet others would too 🙂
You can use them in the ToneX app but not within AmpliTube. I'll send you a few for AmpliTube if you like, just drop me an email - thomas- at - brunkard.com or just look for mine on Tone.Net . Just let me know which version of AmpliTube you're on because I use gear from the higher tiers such as EQ-81 etc.
Thanks Ben. I don't like selling them at all as I just want people to play and make music without getting too hung up on gear. I have spent silly money on all this stuff so it's just about cost recovery so I can do more.
Yes ,this is very good work !
Thanks Mike!

The Boston/Tom Scholz/Rockman Sound would be cool. Love the old X-100 or Sustainor.
Scholz was a visionary. I wonder he makes of all this technology available nowadays?
@@Liam_Doherty_UK nothing but envy for those memories! I have Dublin in ‘93 at least!

There's a lot of parallels with him and Brian May. The way he made that first record is genius!
Very nicely done sir. I don’t own a Red Special but purchased your pack anyway. It sounds very good.

They do look like a lot of fun. We were very lucky here to get all this for free!

Hey man, good to see your still doing your thing. If your every looking for some analogue pedals, give me a shout
How much for the ruby King Charles Spaniel? 🤣
@ bro, you can have her ashes - she passed last year 😭
@@ac30helix44 Ah no! So sorry to hear that. We always had the more trad blenheim and white ones growing up. All of them were full family members.

Brilliant Thomas, curious what is the output from the pedal going into ? Thanks
Hey Trevor! Thanks for sussing that. The pedal has a cable for the three button extension pedal, USB C power and the wireless dongle.

Very fair point. I'm just literally obsessed with the fact this all came out of that little one. Makes me wonder what's next!

Can I use these presets with AmpliTube? I have no pedal only have AmpliTube and tonex on my pc. I usually record covers with my interface at home.

Well done Thomas, you are selling this too cheaply. The hours you've spent on this and other projects is definitely worthy of higher payments.

I’m not complaining but you are selling this very cheaply!
Given everything else I put on the internet has been for free it's a massive increase 🤣
No lie. $12 is a very fair price for the effort and technique he puts into the packs. Best Regards and Best Wishes!
