ALC-42 Chargers on the Amtrak Auto Train!! | 6/22/24

Well well well, this is something I’ve wanted to see for a loooooong time, seeing the ALC-42 Chargers on the famous Amtrak Auto Train.
I got word from friends that it was spotted in Virginia with the Chargers, and I just had to go and see it for myself.
This was the first inaugural run of the Auto Train (P053) with the Chargers, and I’m glad I was able to see it!
I was joined by ‪@RosLounge‬ and ‪@SunRailMV‬ for this, in DeBary, FL.

That car behind the engines isn't a baggage but a former 10/6 sleeper converted for as extra sleeper accommodation on specials and test train moves .
