I love that one. It was Megaman 5 and he watched like two full cycles (after already failing a few times) he then jumps when the first block is suppose to disappear.

I was curious, so I decided to look up this game on Steam. It turns out it was not made in affiliation with Bennett Foddy, but rather by an individual who enjoyed both Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy and the earlier inspiration game Sexy Hiking. Apparently the creator of this was disappointed that Getting Over It didn't inspire countless clones, so they took it upon themselves to make their own homage. I like that "take it in your own hands" approach, so kudos to them.
Unrelated, this game does remind me of something I used to do with friends in the game Human Fall Flat where we would try to sequence break puzzles and go strange places by using a similar hand-over-hand climbing style. This game is WAY more functional for that, though!
It's also legitimately a GREAT game

I've started climbing about 10 months ago, I'm not particularly good at it, but my god, this game. Aside from noticing all the little places *begging* to be handholds that get summarily ignored, I also envy the player's character strength for doing the entire route no-feet.
I'm sure Arin will remain very stoic in the face of this challenge.

Bouldering is climbing on 10-20ft walls with about 5 moves to complete the course, top-roping and TRAD is when you tie up with a harness and climb 60+ft walls. All of these can be in a gym or on real rocks :)
yeah when he said "y'know the walls at a rock climbing gym, thats bouldering" it kind of set me off. idk too much about climbing gyms but i feel like thats the worst way to explain it. a climbing gym is literally all walls that you climb.

I love when yall play these types of one off weird ass games. They feel like they are perfect for Arin like a pair of well fitted slacks. Same thing goes for Danny with the Sierra games.
Y’know, a pornbot’s job isn’t always easy. I think it’s nice that they can take some inspiration where they can get it. And at least they’re nice about it. We could learn a lot from those oiled up butts.
Arin could play this type of game forever.
Bouldering is short complex moves ( a boulder problem), where its complex moves through out, without gear usually just ground pads for a fall. Sport climbing is climbing with gear, with set “clips” for gear (clipping gear to bolts on a wall inside or outside) and traditional climbing or trad, is placing gear (usually in a crack or split rock on a wall) where youre in a harness but you place all of your gear yourself, and placement is super critical.
I swear Dan has asked about the distinction of Bouldering before, maybe for some Tears of the Kingdom climbing? Or perhaps I had a premonition of this very episode...
I sure hope the boys get paid HAND OVER FIST for this arduous CLIMB through this game. Seems like a SLIPPERY SLOPE to go from SMOOTH zen vibes FALLING into a ROCKY ride of frustration.
