Salute to those guides that are the real pros on that river. For some people, the Zambezi is a bucket list item. For others, it's their daily job. Respect.
2:24 That may have been the craziest maneuver I've ever seen from a commercial raft! Edit: 4:53 may be the scariest standing wave I've ever seen too... Thats from Rapid 9 (Commercial Suicide) correct? Its pretty easy to see how that rapid got its name when you look at how that raft is just fucking dwarfed by the size of those waves! And the holes that are on that rapid must be inescapable if they trapped your kayak or raft. I think theres a reason you can count the number of videos of people rafting that particular rapid on one hand...
I did this in 2000 and got sucked under for a bit. Was a great experience but probably wouldn’t tackle it again without any serious training or preparation.
I ve tried this on Zambezi 2 years ago. it was not only rafting, but occurred diving for me)) almost drawned. nevertheless it`s worth doing. unforgettable experience!
Oh yeah it's all ooh and aah and so much fun, until you get sucked under in one of those insane currents and no longer pop up. I had that on the Zambezi and was actually very close to death (the guide thought I was gone..., took more than 1 min under water). Once you get sucked under real bad, it's not like you can do anything other than curl up and hope for the best. So much power in that river. These tours are quite amateuristic, no tourists should be allowed on this. This wouldn't be possible in Europe or US. Be warned, and accept that there is a (small) chance you may die here.

Seriously that's rad thanks for the comment.

I know right! That wave at 4:53 was fuckin wicked! Looks kind of like the same hole at 3:30 maybe.
Going on my birthday in September!!! I can't wait!
I might want to wait if I were you
Nice waves out there. Id be more afraid of the crocs than the rapids
That looks awesome!!!!!
Great river experience, and yes crocodiles wait below every set of rapids for any slow swimmers who get spat out. Swim or die .
Super raft...
I'm a whitewater pro and this would terrify me to have a boat full of customers. If it were all guides I'd still be alittle nervous
+DayvanCowboy195 Yeah none of them seemed to know what they're doing
Great rafting video!
i stay just a few hours away from Zambezi.......never tried that , wish i had the courage
Cant believe he went into that chute at 2:20 and didn't swamp. That would have been carnage
That doesn't appear to be the best line. Thankfully the boat did an S turn on its own.

Holy SHIT that guide at 2:15 fucking shreds WHAT A ROCKSLIDE!
