Jagajjanani - Ratipatipriya | Vishruthi Girish | Navaratri Navakriti

Here is presenting the renowned composition "Jagajjanani" of Sri Ghanam Krishna Iyer in the charming raga Ratipatipriya, wherein he beseeches Goddess Meenakshi of Madurai, princess of the Pandya dynasty with a parrot in her hand, to grant him a boon. He also refers to her as the embodiment of Vedas and music -- and we have hence represented Meenakshi as Rajamatangi, holding a veena and Vedic scriptures.
