I use store bought air dry clay which you can find at any craft or toy shop.
When making your sculpture, Wait for each layer/part to dry especially when sculpting small details. It's much easier to control, shape and spread the clay when you sculpt in layers/parts.

Thank you! I like to paint my sculptures with brown or black first before the other colors because I Iike the effect. It adds depth.
