I love your videos and agree with Jasper's comments. You enunciate clearly, your footage is perfect, and the graphics and subtitles are succinct yet detailed. You are lovely people and we see just the right amount of you, unlike so many videos that focus on the talking heads and narrators. It seems that the video becomes more about their personality than about content. You give great content and wonderful tips. This road trip in the Rioja with visits to the charming town is very helpful for my upcoming trip in May 2023.

Hi Tony, will you be doing a trip to ribera del Duero? I’m going to Spain this December and was thinking of visiting a vineyard. I’m torn between rioja and ribera del deuro. But it seems like rioja has more things to see. Have you visited ribera del deuro before? Which one do you think is better? Anyway, my family and I love your videos. Very informative. 😊
Hi Kay, we have been to the Ribera del Duero before we had the channel. Both regions are spectacular but La Rioja has the nicest villages. All the best.
Hi this is very useful video. I am going to Rioja in a week and am thinking of getting a car. Clearly it is not a good idea to drink and drive but what are the odds of a roadblock happening and if it happens is it on major road or small road? Thank you for the advice
Hi, police checks can happen in any type of roads, although they are likelier in smaller roads. Drinking and driving in Spain is an absolute no no.
Can you wine taste and drive or do you need a designated driver?
That is a truly thorny issue. Better have a designated driver or visit wineries in the cities where you are spending the night, so you can walk to the winery and drink as much as you want to.
