For the corner combo. You can use the medium hashogeki instead. Does 50 more damage.

What’s dope about it is that it still covers wake up buttons/DP/super too without thinking too hard about it

The main combo you promote doesn’t work for me and I’ve tried it loads of times, when I do the light hashoki the opponent gets hits back too far for it to connect into the dp… doesn’t work or requires too much precision for it to be worthwhile in competitive matches.
You need specific spacing for the donkey kick. You should start the combo in the default player 1 middle position.

I'm pretty new to sf6 but have been liking Ryu a lot. His damage feels pretty wild- idk if that's just me.
Subscribed. I wish we didn't have to charge denjin and still use OD to get the optimal combos.
THE DAMAGE
Timing is so hard for me on these especially from Jhp-Shk-Crmk. Going to have to work at it.
That EX-DK into light hasho combo is sick, but labbing it, i can only get it to work from starting the combo in the default positions in training mode. In any other spot it doesn't work because they don't rebound off the wall for the perfect trajectory to land on your hasho and the dp won't connect
but Back HK > Heavy DP still work
Man I just can’t seem to get this new optimal combo down. The down input for the crMk throws me off I keep getting a poke standing medium😭
usually the knee hitting the floor is the key timing for most juggle combo. take DeeJay trials for example

Love it man I suck at 6 ... and I'm just like what's the point should I go back to USFIV instead or. but I think I'm going to hop on because I'm certainly not using drive rush any better than the modern noobs, actually was playing entirely without it and doing well with fundamentals but I think I hit the ceiling without a more varied set of combos now.
I went back to 4 last night and wow. While there is a lot I like about 4 I'm actually surprised how much 5 and 6 have grown on me. Can't wait till 6 gets dudley, sakura or lucia something like that right now aside ryu not much for me. Trying to learn guile.
Wth man some of old combos no longer work example( sitting Jab standing medium punch and crouching medium)😢

Someone needs to talk about this lp hasogeki puts other characters in more block stun like guile
2:58 this isn't optimal. optimal is j.Hp > st.HP > OD hasho > microwalk b.HP > H DK > L DP

I've been considering providing a transcript for other languages actually. i'll keep this comment in mind and see if I can implement it in the future!
OD Hasho can't combo into stHP or crHP, it literally just doesn't.
OD Denjin Hasho does.
