Clifford is such a wonderful person and an amazing soul. hKSRTC is lucky to have him as a driver. When my son was studying engineering in Mangalore he used to travel frequently to Mangalore from Mumbai and he met Clifford, they befriended and he took good care of him and also spend on meals of my son. My first trip to mangalore by this bus was so memorable. The attitude of drivers and staff is commendable. The journey is safe for women solo travellers.
After seeing this interview of Sri.Clifford D'Souza avaru, my respects for KSRTC and its team went up a few notches higher. Except for a few handful exceptions, almost entire KSRTC team reflects the humility, hardwork, honesty, dedication and cheerfulness of Clifford ji. Most honest straight forward interview from the heart without any bias!! Hats-off to Joyful Traveler. KSRTC drivers and team are infact like Saints; they ensure our loved ones are safely and comfortably transported from even remote and farflung areas without bothering about whether the route is profitable or loss. Also, KSRTC is very responsible citizen and is silently ahead of technology by introducing IT, Innovations, Sustainable like Bus tracking, Online booking, Clean and odourfree bus interior, Electric Buses, Low-floor buses to avoid injury and ensure safety to Ladies, Chidlren and Elderly, Inside bus announcement, MOST important CCTV inside bus etc. Sri.Clifford ji is real hero. These humble, sincere Drivers, Conductors, Mechanics, Officials, Management are real heros like soldiers serving our society and country. We should have on dedicated Transport Day in a year for our gratitude to them. Jai Hind.
